WMT Revision Levels

Revision levels take the general form major.minor.supplement, where each of the three components consists of numeric digits such as, for example, 4.12.5. As the document is revised and reissued, these numeric components are incremented in such a manner as to indicate the significance of the changes to the document as compared to the previous revision.

A major revision will increment the first component, which indicates a significant change in overall content and organization. A minor revision will increment the second component, which indicates changes not affecting the overall content, but perhaps a reorganization of the material. A superficial change, such as fixing typos, for example, will be represented by the third component being incremented. Not all revisions are released for publication.

This manual is meant to be used! If you simply follow what is laid out for you within these pages and the business training system, you will have success with Shaklee. If you get every new person in your organization duplicating what you do with this system, they will have success as well. Nothing really happens in 90 days to the average person. But for you it could literally change your life forever.

This manual is also a workbook. As you study the system we use to build our businesses, use the wide margins to take notes. Doodle if you like. But use the book fully.

To save paper, the pages of the manual are formatted for double-sided printing, with odd-numbered pages on one side and even-numbered pages on the back of the odd-numbered ones. You can print it out single-sided if you like, but then it won’t look like a book.

New Member Process

Follow the new member process for each new member, distributor, or Gold Ambassador that you personally have sponsored or a member in your downline has sponsored.

When you register a new member or receive notification from Shaklee of a new member put that person’s information in the People Locator section in your Business Action Notebook System at www.StarAchieversTeam.net/files/BusinessActionNotebook.pdf

Next, transfer their information to the Customer Product Profile form at www.StarAchieversTeam.net/files/CustomerFollowUpForm.pdf

You’ll track the actions you do with that new member on both sides of the Customer Product Profile form and New Member form at www.StarAchieversTeam.net/files/NewMemberForm.pdf

These are the STEPS to take with the new member

1. Create a mailing label for your new member using mailing label template on your computer. � Include member’s full name, address, city, state and zip code. � We recommend using Avery label #8160 with 30 labels per page. � Print two pages of mailing labels; you’ll have 60 mailing labels to use.

2. Mail a Welcome Pack

� Send by postal mail within 24-48 hours after their membership has been activated. � Using the mailing label you created, affix one to an envelope (6”x 9” or 9”x 12”). � Be sure to personalize the Welcome Letter, Membership Benefits form, and Product Guide Rebate

form with your information.

3. Print the product information flyers for follow-up mailing � Print one (or more for future mailings) of each product information flyer – see list on pages 10-13.

(Choose 52 flyers from the list) � Affix a label (or use a rubber stamp) to each flyer with YOUR personalized information. � Include:

Your full name Home office phone number Your PWS domain name Email address

4. Create “Pass It On” insert cards to get referrals � Make sure you print on 24# paper or better � The outside of the insert card (the $100 dollar bill) is a PDF file. Download and save to your

computer this document at www.StarAchieversTeam.net/files/100DollarBill.pdf � The inside of the insert card is a Word document that you personalize with your own information at

www.StarAchieversTeam.net/files/100DollarInsert.doc � After you print both sides, cut the cards with a paper cutter. � You will want to use a paper cutter with a sharp edge. (If you don’t have a

paper cutter at home, go to an office supply store and use theirs for free) � Fold them. Include the folded $100 bill insert card with the product information

flyer in each envelope.

5. Prepare 52 envelopes with the member’s mailing label. � Use #10 business envelopes. � Put a product information flyer and the “pass it on” insert card in each envelope. � Drop the prepared envelopes for that member in each hanging file folder beginning with the file

that’s first in the “tickler file”. � (See Tickler File Set Up below) � You are now set up to mail one envelope each week to your new member. � The order of the flyers does not matter!!

6. Tickler File Set Up

� From an office supply store, purchase a large plastic file tote box or crate � Hang 52 letter-size hanging file folders in the file box � Attach a file tab to each hanging file folder. � Insert in each tab a numbered tab from 1 to 52 � Each week, you’ll remove all the prepared envelopes from the hanging

file folder that is in the front of the file box to send by postal mail. � Move the now empty hanging file folder to the back of the box. � The order of the flyers does not matter!!

7. Create “master” newsletter mailing list � In the Business Action Notebook at www.StarAchieversTeam.net/files/BusinessActionNotebook.pdf

add the new member’s information to the newsletter Mailing List form at www.StarAchieversTeam.net/files/MailingLabel.pdf (or use a blank Avery mailing label #8160).

� Handwrite the names on the label or on the Mailing List form and use as your original to make copies. Use a black felt-tip pen.

� Write the date you added their name to your newsletter mailing list. � Here’s how you know when you added them to your newsletter mailing list. For example, if you

add their name to the list on June 2008; write 0608 on the label next to their name as a code. � You will mail monthly newsletters for a year. � If they do not re-order products during the next twelve months, you will affix a Scratch Off Your

8. 3-Day Call: � This is a quick phone call � Make sure they got their member kit � Call 3 days after being notified the order was shipped � You can track the order through your back office at www.MyShaklee.com

10. 14-Day Call and New Member Appointment � Make sure they are still using the product. � This is a 10-15-minute phone appointment to go over their membership

benefits.

� Teach your new rep when you do a 3-way with them with their new members until they are ready to follow the new member process.

11. Mail Thank You card with the ordering information magnet

� Mail thank you card immediately after the new member appointment � Include ordering information magnet (order free from Vista Print) � Personalize with your information � Use domain name for your Shaklee PWS and redirect to your PWS home page � Write the members Shaklee ID number on the magnet � Include the magnet inside the thank you card and mail

12. Send Thank You for Your Order Note

� Each time you receive a product order notification from Shaklee send your customer member a Thank You for Your Order Note.

� Include a product information sheet on other products with the thank you note.

� Include your business card (your Product (blue card with daisy) or your Business (green with money) business card)

New Member Product Information Flyers

� It’s recommended to print the flyers on 24 lb. laser paper, even if you’re using an inkjet printer.

� The quality of the printing will be much better than on regular copy paper and

the colors won’t bleed through on the two-sided flyers.

� We recommend you print 5 of each flyer at a time; you’ll be ready to personalize the flyer, fold, and stuff the 52 envelopes for that new member.

� Open any Word document.

� Personalize with your information.

� Add label with your information on PDF file you print.

� Save to your computer or flash drive.

� Remember to add $100 “Pass It On” insert cards to get referrals (see #4 on page 4)
