Lunch & Learn: Accumulating Wealth

Summertime is a great opportunity to continue building up your existing relationships, because you will be able meet new people in a generally more relaxed time of the year.

here are several summer networking tips to remember:

Invite people to attend summer festivities, happy hours, sporting events, etc. with you.•

Meet others for lunch on a regular basis. Take the time to set up lunch meetings to get to know people.•

Host your own happy hours. This is a great opportunity to bring your network together to meet new people.•

Make introductions between those in your network. Constantly try to add value by making strategic •introductions.

Be consistent and persistent. Don't let the summer stop you from your regular relationship building •activities.

The Chamber thrives off of the contributions of our members. The dues that each of you pay is key to the day-to-day running of our offices. However, the volunteer hours that you and your employees offer to us are also instrumental in making our Chamber function properly. Each month this section features Chamber volunteers who have demonstrated extra effort for the month. It is our hope that we will see each of you in this column soon.
