PARISH UPDATES Please note that the Sacrament of Reconciliation will only be offered on Saturdays from 3:00 - 4:00 PM effective immediately.
Daily Mass is offered Monday - Friday at 7:00 AM in the Emmanuel Chapel and in the Main Church at 12:05 PM. No Masses are offered on Saturdays at the Cathedral.
Our Sunday Masses remain at 9:30 AM and the bilingual 12:00 PM Mass. Both continue to be livestreamed.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION UPDATE Dear Parents and Guardians,
As there has been a return to the public celebration of Mass, the following dates and times have been scheduled for the celebration of your children’s sacraments:

- Sun., July 19 , 2020 - 9:30 AM Mass - First Communions

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS The Cathedral Knights of Columbus are happy to announce we will be hosting the first Knights of Columbus Exemplification of Charity, Unity, & Fraternity in St. Joseph’s Hall on Wed., July 8th at 6 PM.
We invite all men to join the Knights of Columbus and First Degree (Charity) Brother Knights who are interested in advancing to the Third Degree of Knighthood (Unity & Fraternity) to join us for the first Knights of Columbus Exemplification for the 2020 fraternal year. SAINT BENEDICT - JULY 11 What’s known about the father of Western monasticism is from the “Dialogues of (Pope) St. Gregory the Great.” Sent to Rome to study, 20-year-old Benedict shunned the city’s wickedness to take up solitary living in Subiaco. He stayed there for about 25 years, with disciples he organized into 12 small communities. Around 529 he established the monastery at Monte Cassino, near Naples, where he spent the rest of his life and finalized his famous Rule, which spread throughout Western Europe. St. Scholastica was his sister; St. Gregory describes their spiritual talks and moving final meeting. Benedict is the patron saint of Europe and of spelunkers, perhaps because some of his early foundations were in caves or grottoes. (from usccb.org)
RCIA REGISTRATION The RCIA program is for any adult who needs to complete any one or more of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, or Confirmation).
Registration begins on Monday, July 13 and ends on Friday, August 28. Classes will be held every Monday from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM beginning Monday, August 17.
The program will be divided into two sections. The first section will be held from August 17 - December 7 and the second section from January 11 - March 29. Candidates must complete both sections to receive their sacraments. For more information please call Ms. Orfie Hernandez at 361-883-4213, ext. 202.
