ty. Please remember
her family in prayer.
Adoration Ministry
Come join us for 1st Tuesday monthly
Adoration of Jesus in the Most Blessed
Sacrament. Adoration starts at 7:30
a.m. and ends with
Benediction at
5:30 p.m. Let us
pray for the Minis-
tries of our parish.
Prayer changes
lives. Come
join us on
Tuesday, Janu-
ary 7, in St. Au-
gustine Church.
Marriage Moments In the northern hemisphere, Christmas coincides with the longest nights of the year. Let darkness be your friend. Pause with your spouse amidst your busy preparations to go outside (even in the cold) and look at the sky. Ponder your smallness in this universe, but also the warmth of your love for each other.
Parenting Pointers "Thus the total number of generations was..." (Mt: 1:17)
Christmas is almost here. How many generations of
your family will be present during your holidays? Listen
to each other's stories. Learn about the past and fu-
ture.
Please Pray for the Sick
Please call the Parish Office (270-692-3019, ext. 6) to request for someone to added to this prayer list.
Thanks!

Anointing of the Sick
Anointing of the Sick is for all those who are in danger due to sick-ness or old age. Anointing confers for-giveness of sins, conforms us to Christ who suffered, and comforts us with his healing grace. It can be repeated for each illness or when conditions worsen. Anointing will be available after all Mass-es this weekend, December 21 & 22.
Are you or someone you know ex-pecting? At the STA & HNM masses this weekend, December 21-22, the Blessing of the Child in the Womb will be given at the end of each mass. Please consider coming forward for the blessing. The parish community rejoices with you at the gift of your new child! In addition to the moth-ers, the fathers and other family members are also included in the prayer of blessing. Anyone can re-ceive this blessing anytime thru-out the year, please contact the Parish Office at 270-692-3019.
STA/HNM Parish Offices will be closed
Monday, December 23, - Friday, December
27, for Christmas Holiday. And the Parish
Offices will be closed Tuesday, December
31, and Wednesday, January 1, for the
New Year Holiday.

Catholic Charities
Collection
The annual collection for Catholic Charities will be
taken up in our parish this weekend—December
21/22. This collection supports the local services of
Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of Louisville.
Your generosity helps to fund many vital ministries
and social services, including the Sister Visitor Cen-
ter, the Mother-Infant Care program, the Bakhita
Empowerment Initiative to combat human traffick-
ing, Migration and Refugee Services, Common
Earth Gardens, and Common Table. Please give
generously when the Catholic Charities Collection is
taken up at our parishes.
Our clustered parishes’ next communal celebration
will be January 18/19, 2020. Parents, as well as God-
parents, are to attend the Preparation Session on
Tuesday, January 14, 6:30
p.m., at St. Augustine Par-
ish Center. For more infor-
mation or to register, please

270-692-3019.
Fourth Sunday of Advent
“Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,
which means God is with us.” Matthew 1:23
Mary serves as a model of stewardship. By saying “yes” to God, Mary bore the Savior
of the world - Emmanuel. She comes to follow God’s will without regard to the personal cost to herself.
