Swasky meets Joan Miró in the building designed by architect
Josep Lluís Sert for Miró in Barcelona. In this book, Swasky
invites the reader to join him as he tours the Fundació Joan Miró
in Barcelona and some of the key places in the life and work of
this great artist. Sketchbook in hand, Swasky encourages us to
discover and enjoy Joan Miró’s universe as he experiences it.
Swasky is an illustrator and urban sketcher. He studied Fine
Arts and Audiovisual Communication in Barcelona and has worked as
an illustrator for clients such as Sònar, Círculo de Lectores and
Icon magazine. Winner of the Clermont-Ferrand International Travel
Literature Award in 2012 for Voltant per Sants, he has published
other noteworthy travel sketchbooks such as Enjoy Gaudí (2013) and
Catalan Wine Landscapes (2014). He is a member of USK Barcelona and
USK international.
