Yarra Trams is renewing 550 metres of tram tracks to deliver a smoother and quieter ride to Route 70 customers. It is part of our ongoing renewal of the tram network.

Route 70 trams between Waterfront City Docklands and Wa le Park will operate as Route

– diver ng at Flinders Street

via Route 75 to Wellington Parade, Bridge Road, Burwood Road and Power Street in both direc ons.

will operate as Route 70a between the City (Flinders and Elizabeth Streets and Swan Street, Burnley. This shu le service is for customers heading to or from Swan Street, Richmond and Burnley.

The tracks in this sec on of Swan Street have not been renewed since 1969. With 550 metres of track being renewed, these works will deliver a smoother and quieter ride to Route 70 customers.
