Skill Level: Intermediate Size: 4-6 (7-9) Poncho is made in two rectangular panels sewn together. 12” x 27” (13” x 29”) Materials: Cascade Yarns® Swaddle 100% Polyester 200 g (7 oz) / 197 yds (180 m) 3 skeins color #15 (Flora) US 10½/24”-29” circular knitting needle Crochet hook size H Stitch markers Yarn Needle Gauge: 16 sts x 20 rows = 4” (10 cm)

Row 2: P1, *(K3, P1); repeat from * across. Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for pattern for 27” (29”). BO in ribbing. Panel 2: CO 33 (39) sts. Row 1 (RS): (K1, P1) 6 (8) times, PM, K9 (11), PM, (K1, P1) 6 (8) times. Row 2: (K1, P1) 6 (8) times, SM, P9 (11), SM, (K1, P1) 6 (8) times. Damp block both panels to measurements. Construction: Sew two panels together as follows: Sew panel 1 & 2 together as shown in the first figure. Sew panel 1 and 2 together as shown in the 2nd diagram. Collar: With RS facing, starting at one of the points at neck edge, pick up and knit 1 st exactly in the center, PM, pick up and knit 55 (63) sts (multiple 4 +3) evenly across to just before other point, PM, pick up and knit 1 st at center, PM, pick up and knit 55 (63) sts evenly across to beginning of neck sts, PM. 112 (128) sts Row 1: SM, K1, SM, *(P3, K1); repeat from * until 3 sts remaining, P3, SM, K1, SM, *(P3, K1); repeat from * until 3 sts remain before marker, P3. Row 2: SM, K1, SM, work next 2 sts together, continue in pattern as established to 2 sts before next marker, work 2 sts together, SM, continue in pattern as established to last 2 sts before next marker, work 2 sts together. Repeat Row 2 until 3” have been worked. Change to double seed stitch in the round as follows: Rows 1 & 2: *(K1, P1); repeat from * around. Rows 3 & 4: *(P1, K1); repeat from * around. Repeat these 4 rounds for 4” more. Finishing: BO in pattern. Weave in all ends.
