EVENTS ORGANISATION & CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITYAs event organisers we have a responsibility to the planet and to the general public to think about the long-term impact of our events on the environment.

This is commonly tied up in a CSR statement. Most are planning with this in mind. In this brochure we consider the provision of long-life products, biodegradable products, compostable products and lastly recycled products.

The products featured here are designed to stimulate the creative process and get you thinking even more about products which you might provide or cajole vendors to provide.

A food vendor should not serve up food on throwaway plastic plates for example. Also we want to introduce products that will make the process of organising a festival/event easier, more enjoyable and sustainable.

RESPONSIBLY PROVIDING LONG LASTING PRODUCTSEach event situation is different, but largely the food, drink and experiences are most important for festival/event goers. We need to offer the audience the sustainable products necessary for any given outdoor/indoor situations that may prevail. Reusable products like a hat, sunglasses and a waterproof are vital depending on weather conditions.

Hydration is one of the most important things for events/festival goers, no matter what the weather. Faced with no alternative to getting water than buying or being given a plastic bottle the general public will accept the plastic bottle. It really is the organisers’ job to ensure that a sustainable offering is available for their customers instead of giving out throwaway plastic bottles.
