• Acer is the laptop brand used by the most PPISMP students in IPGM Kampus Rajang.
• There are 74 (49.01%) of students use this brand.
• HP rates the second highest number of students to use the laptop, which is 42( 27.81%) of students.
• Acer and HP achieve the two highest number of users because they believe that they have good quality and average price.• Acer has the higher number of users
as its has wider market and more service centres compared to HP.
• two least students use the brand of Sony and MSI in IPGM Kampus Rajang. There is only 1 (0.66%) of people use these two brand respectively.
• Sony is more expensive.• MSI is a new brand as it is made in
Taiwan -it is not popular in local market.

• Most of the students preferred to buy their laptop in the range of RM 2000 until RM 2499. There are 64(42.38% )of students who buy their laptop in this range of price.
• Laptop in this price range is suitable for PPISMP students do not need the sophisticated laptop for their study.
• Only 2(1.32%) of students bought their laptops in the range of RM 1000 until RM 1499. • Those students may not afford to buy
their laptop in other prices.

• Most of the students bought their chosen brand because of the quality, there are 94(62.25%) students.
• There are 33(21.85%) of students chose their laptop according to the price.
• The survey shows that most of the PPISMP students buy their laptop based on the quality of the laptop.

CONCLUSION• The criteria of PPISMP students in
IPGM Kampus Rajang to choose their laptop are based on the quality and the price of the laptop, which is suitable for their study.
• Acer and HP have become the two most favourite model among students as the quality is suitable for them and the price is affordable.
• However, Acer achieves the top of the ranking among the laptop brands as it has the wider market compared to HP.
