Sensible Surrogacy is happy to recommend unique programs for surrogacy in the United States at a cost that is almost half of typical US surrogacy programs.

Typical surrogacy in the United States requires the Future Parents to do a lot of work and spend a lot of money. The parents must find their own surrogate, their own clinic and their own legal counsel. Agents may be available to help — often at a cost of tens of thousands of dollars. The process is complicated, expensive, and out of reach of most couples.

Sensible Surrogacy’s experience overseas has taught us the value of simplicity. We have helped develop and can now recommend all-in-one packages modeled after successful services overseas.

Our programs include all components of the surrogacy process. For one fee we can arrange all medical procedures (including the IVF, embryo transfer prenatal care and the delivery), legal contracts and filings, the surrogate compensation and expenses as well as the logistical support from our team in the U.S. and worldwide.

For a strictly controlled and transparent budget, the entire program is managed by our team of partners, from recruiting and evaluating your surrogate mother to helping you return safely home with your new baby. Payments are always made directly to the service provider. There is never any markup on 3rd party services, and there is never any doubt as to where your money is going, what you are paying for or the value you are receiving.

The U.S. is the international gold standard for surrogacy, and (along with the Ukraine) has the most favorable surrogacy laws worldwide. Success rates among U.S. IVF clinics are the best worldwide. Birth certificates are automatically issued with the name of the Future Parents, and children born via surrogacy agreements in the U.S. are entitled to American citizenship.

OUR EXCLUSIVE US/MEXICO OPTION The unique program combines the best of both worlds We are proud to announce our new service that combines the low cost of fertility treatments in Mexico with the full benefits of a United States surrogacy program… This option is available for all loving couples! The U.S./Mexico surrogacy program offers IVF procedures in Mexico with the prenatal care and birth in the United States. The combined program follows the new restrictions of Mexican surrogacy laws, while also reducing the costs to about half of typical American surrogacy programs. Under the new program, clinical procedures including egg donation, endometrial stimulation, IVF and embryo transfer are performed at our specialized Fertility Center in Mexico. The surrogate mother is an American resident and citizen, and after a positive pregnancy test she will return home to the U.S. for complete prenatal care under the watch of our excellent U.S. obstetricians. The delivery will also happen in a U.S. hospital. Unlike typical U.S. style surrogacy programs, this program includes all the various components of the surrogacy process. Future Parents do not need to supply their own surrogate, or their own clinic, or their own legal resources. Learning valuable lessons from our very successful surrogacy programs overseas, our U.S./Mexico program brings all these components together, administered from a single team for a single price. The more streamlined administration of the program elements further reduces costs dramatically. The U.S. is the international gold standard for fertility treatments, including surrogacy. But traditional surrogacy programs in the United States have cost more than $150,000 USD. Important information about Medical Insurance for your surrogate mother… The U.S. health care is the most expensive worldwide. Obstetric care is no exception. Complications during a pregnancy can cost tens of thousands of dollars, and is the responsibility of the Future Parents. For this reason, we require all clients to purchase health insurance for their surrogate mother, and always include this cost in our proposed budget. Sensible Surrogacy can arrange for insurance that covers complications arising during the pregnancy and delivery. Our insurer is the leading provider of catastrophic insurance for surrogate mothers. The cost of a standard policy is $450 to $550 USD / month, and covers the prenatal care and 90% of the delivery. An important note, insurance programs typically cover only 90% of medical care up to a maximum of about $5000 per policy year. So even with insurance, parents should be prepared for possible medical expenses of $5,000 and up to $10,000 USD for twins.
