Danone Medical and Baby divisons of Spain iniciated the local Supporting Lives programme in cooperation with ‘Aldeas Infantiles SOS de España’ in 2006. All Spanish support was directed to the children’s village in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on the Canary Islands to build a facility room for helping children with psychomotor functional limitations (from 0 up to 4 years old). In 2007 our efforts were concentrated on refurbishing the bathrooms of Maternal houses in SOS village in El Escorial (Madrid) and last year we colaborated with the SOS village in Granada for improving the termic isolation of the homes in the Granada Village. The contribution is just 2 € and the satisfaction and loyalty to this kind of initiatives have no price! Just look at their faces!”

The initiative was very successful (even more than we expected)...everyone wanted their “souvenir” of our old offices! Regarding the fundraising, just spectacular...around 10.000 €!”
