Lend was founded in 2016 by a team of finance and lending experts, data scientists, machine learning engineers and technologists dedicated to creating a seamless, efficient and fast experience for Australian business finance brokers and their clients.

The vision of Lend was to completely re-architect the way brokers, borrowers and lenders interact.

In 2019, Lend launched the fastest and most sophisticated platform specifically designed for Australian business finance brokers. The Lend platform automates the process of matching a lender to an SME, using a sophisticated combination of AI and analytics. It does all this without impacting the applicant’s credit score.

The platform has continued to evolve with additional features and functionality and in 2019 LendScoreTM was added to the platform.

Today, Lend is the only platform that puts control back into the hands of Australian business finance brokers.

Donelle started her career in media, with a “Girl Friday” role in the sports department of The Examiner Newspaper in Tasmania. In her 10 years between Vodafone and Telstra she advanced from Team Leader and then Operations establishing business centres for Telstra on the Gold Coast in the late 2000’s. In 2008 Donelle moved to a broker role in 2008 covering consumer and commercial finance, her experience in these areas helped her move across to commercial lending in 2011 as a Senior Lending Manager and then Operations Manager for Speedy Finance. Wanting to focus on “education and giving back” Donelle moved into the National BDM role for Business Fuel in 2018. In 2020 Donelle joined SME Digital disruptor “Lend” as the Head of 3rd Party. Donelle is a focused leader & hopes to make a difference in the SME/Commercial Lending space with her passion for arming brokers with the right education for writing business in the commercial/SME space and hopes to get the industry working smarter not harder.
