AEPS Assessment

• Assessment that it can be used from birth to six years old.

• AEPS is based to help teachers and parents to know children needs.

• Great to see the progress of a child.• Very accurate to see which activities are appropriate for

children.• This assessment covers; fine motor skills, gross

motor, adaptive, cognitive, social communication, social.

Administration of Assessment

This assessment will be given by teachers to children. Also the participation from parents is important and valuable. This assessment will be giving in the classroom once a week and other activities will be given every day to see if students are remembering what they learned.

Legal

Confidentially is an important part of “Sunshine School”. The information that is gained by this assessment will be not review to anyone without your permission. Teacher that gave assessment and Principe will be the only one that will review this information, in order to explain what are the outcomes and what will be new expectations.

Involvement

Parents and professionals will be involve every time with children. As the process goes on professionals will guide parents to tell them what to observe. Because the behavior of children in their houses are important to understand their process. Being in constant communication between parents and professionals.

Expectations & Outcomes

Expectations are to see children needs. Help them to progress in what they need. Also I expect to know more the students, so I can give the proper activities by themselves and also as group.

• What are your child favorite thing to do?

• What is his/her favorite thing to eat?

• What he/she dislike to eat?

• How did he/she react when they’re mad?

• How did he/she react when is sad?

• Did he/she have any special toy?
