Be More Ac8ve Week Thank you to those of you who joined in with a range of fun and physical acvies to mark ‘Be More Acve Week’. Parents/carers across school were invited to join a range of acvies with their child including bike riding, swimming, keep fit class and dancing! A3endance reminder Please can all parents/carers make every effort to ensure their child aends schools before & a6er appointments where possible. We also request that all holidays are taken out of school me. Pupil Progress in 2016-17 53% of pupils made beyond expected rate progress. 84% of pupils made at least expected rate progress. 86% of pupils with SLD made at least expected rate progress. 55% of pupils with SLD made beyond expected rate progress. 58% of pupils with PMLD made at least expected rate progress. 89% of pupils with a primary need of ASD made at least expected rate progress. Well done everyone! Class 8 enjoyed a visit to the new ‘Wear Crossing’ last week! This is what the pupils had to say about it: “I liked the look of the bridge!” Eduard. “I loved it because it is nice and new.” Callum. “I liked looking at the workers when on the viewing plaBorm.” Josh W. “The colour was very prey.” Sophie. “It is going to look lovely and fancy at night because it has lights on”.
