REMINDER!

Please wear your face masks while in church during masses, and keep social distance for your own protection as well as others.

End of the Year Tax Statements

Please be assured the office at Corpus Christi will issue tax statements as soon as the Diocese allows. Father then reviews them and signs each one. You should receive yours by the 31st of January. Thanks for your patients.

Just a Reminder There are a few openings for Daily Mass in this New Year. If you have an intention that would merit requesting a Mass please contact the office. A mass can be requested in person or by phone. Each time you come to church, we do our best to shovel. However, if you ever notice the need to shovel or salt, please help us out. The shovels are located at the side entrance. Let's help keep each other safe!

2021 Pastoral Visits

There is a long time tradition of having the Pastor of your Church visit your home and bring a special blessing to you and those in your household and to bless you house. We still do this in 2021. If you are interested in having Father Michał or Fr. Jan visit your home, please call the rectory to make arrangements and schedule an appointment.

2021 CALENDARS:

We are pleased to provide our parishioners with 2021 calendars in Polish and English. The calendars provide information relative to our parish, cemetery, holy days of obligation, feast days, etc. Please contact our rectory office or one of the ushers before or after weekend Masses to receive a calendar for your home. Donation is greatly appreciated.

“The fight for the right to life is not the cause of a special few, but the cause of every man, woman and child who cares not only about his or her own family, but the whole family of man.” Dr. Mildred Jefferson

“Year of Saint Joseph”

With the Apostolic Letter “Patris corde” (“With a Father’s Heart”), Pope Francis recalls the 150th anniversary of the declaration of Saint Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church. To mark the occasion, the Holy Father has proclaimed a “Year of Saint Joseph” from today, 8 Dec. 2020, to 8 Dec. 2021.

Prayer to St Joseph ( Pope Francis) Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. To you God entrusted his only Son; in you Mary placed her trust; with you Christ became man. Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a father and guide us in the path of life. Obtain for us grace, mercy, and courage, and defend us from every evil. Amen. OUR LADY OF POMPEII PARISH FEBRUARY FAITH

MEMORIES-how do we hold dear to our heart and mind those we have lost/died? The Catholic church gives family and friends wonderful opportunities to honor their loved ones after their passing and ongoing prayers for their new home in heaven. Did you know you could request a Mass? Clergy/priests offer Mass daily in our Chapel or Church. We have a special Mass book we use to record your request and list the name of your loved one. A suggested donation is $15 weekday/$20 weekend. Or you can choose to have the Sanctuary Light burn throughout the week in the Church or Chapel. A suggested donation is $10 for Church or Chapel or $20 for both. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests. We will communicate the information in the bulletin or send receipt in the mail or give you a call. The name will be mentioned during Mass and in the Intentions for the parish community to join you in prayer as well. These are long-standing traditions throughout Catholic churches throughout the world.
