Geneva Denson’s sister -in-law, Debbie Harber, has been diagnosed with colon cancer. The family would appreciate your prayers.

Gayle Crane had a PET scan done on Fr iday at Mercy Hospital Ada. Please keep her in your prayers.

Geneva Bullock is not doing well at this time & hospice has been called in. Please keep her in your prayers.

Our sympathy goes to Denise & Butch Platt & their family on the passing of Denise’s father, Bill Hill. His funeral service was held Thursday at the Henderson Hills Baptist Church in Edmond & a graveside followed at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada.

The Family of Bill Villines has requested that any memorials be made to the Haitien Widows Bethesda House in his memory. His services were held Tuesday.

The Rowe Family wanted to thank everyone for all the cards, prayers & everything during their time of loss. They also wanted to be identified with our congregation at Southwest. We are glad to have you here at Southwest.

There will be a wedding shower for Cameron & Lori Treadaway today after the evening service in the fellowship building. This is a gift card & monetary shower: Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Amazon, Braum’s or monetary.

Meals on Wheels is this week.

Ladies Prayer Group will meet again on September 2nd at 4 pm.

Tuesday Morning Ladies Class will resume on September 4th at 10 am in the fellowship building.

Volunteers Needed: We are still in need of some men/young men to take the Lord’s Supper to the nursing homes on Sunday mornings. You would leave the building around 8:45 am & be back by 10:00 am. If you would like to help with this, please contact Alan Simpson.

Dear Southwest Family, Thank you so much for the cards, calls, & especially prayers for my mother’s brain tumor. She has been given an all clear for her cancer. She will continue to have quarterly MRI’s & physical therapy. I want to thank the Ladies Bible Class & Jean Kelley for the extra cards & gifts. We are truly blessed to have you all as family. The College Group will be going Sunday evening, the 26th, to Hammond Heights &

then to the Frye’s for a Devo

Last Sunday we spotlighted several of our young men who participated in Preacher’s Training Camps

over the Summer. This week we would like to recognize three young ladies who also spent a week

of their Summer becoming better equipped to teach and

present God’s Word. Rebekah Eck, Amber Grimsley and Macey Eck attended the

Future Teacher’s Training Camp in Enid OK.
