Apply sunscreen early Apply sun protection at least 30 minutes before exposure.This ensures the protection filters have time to reach their optimal levels.

forget the ears, nose, upper lip, scalp, décolletage, neck, shoulders and feet.
Avoid the sun between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm This is when UV-rays are strongest. Give your skin a midday break out of the sun.
Sun shines everywhereNearly half of direct sunlight reaches the skin in the shade or on cloudy days. Reflections from water, snow and sand significantly increase the risk
of sunburn. The risk of skin damage from UV rays can be 90% higher in these situations.
Cotton doesn‘t absorb UVB rays effectivelyEven when fully clothed, be aware of sunburn. Polyester fabrics provide better protection. Colour and cut also play a role: loose, dark clothing protects better than light, form-fitting clothing.
