From the Chapter Chairman’s Desk …
My Dear Brother Knights,
I would like to thank Paul Basileo and his committee for doing a great job on theCharity Drive Kick-Off. Let’s all get behind them and try to make this Charity Drive the bestthat we have ever had. Many thanks to Bishop McGann Council for hosting.
Gene Johann has planned a great golf outing. It should be a very enjoyable day.Don’t forget to sign up for this, you won’t be disappointed.
Our Day of Recollection is being held at Our Lady of Grace, chaired by Bill Murphy.Fr. Stephen Donnelly will be the guest speaker. He is extremely interesting, very spiritualand most entertaining. This day promises to be a memorable one. Sign up ASAP.
Please see Joe Tumminello for your 300 Club ticket. The 300 Club is designed to
consistently replenish the funds to sustain the FAC program so please purchase a numberso that we can get this program off the ground. The tickets are $50.00 each, but if you can’tafford one on your own, chip in with some of your friends. We need to have funds availableto assist our brother Knights and sister Columbiettes in financial despair.
Last but not least Our Fraternal Weekend is approaching fast. Please make yourreservations with Tom Romano. Those who attended last year said that they had aFABULOUS time.
All of the details for the above mentioned functions can be obtained on theindividual flyers listed at the end of the Chapter Bulletin, or by calling the Chairmen listed.
Our February Meeting will be on the 12 th at St. Killian Council in Farmingdale.Hope to see all of you there.

Prayer for the Canonization of Father Michael J. McGivneyGod, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Father Michael J. McGivney, to be anapostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor. Through the example of hislife and virtue may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building uphis Body which is the Church. Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that wemay continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast. We humbly ask that you glorify your servantFather Michael J. McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor
