Do not choose a subject based on what your friends choose, nor on who you think will be teaching the subject.
Choose to get a taste of if you like a subject of study.
• Choose subjects you like and are good at.
• Choose subjects that will be helpful to achieve their future plans.
• As students move from year 9 into 10 at the end of 2020 they will have options of taking courses that require additional fees to cover materials and activities.
• If students have outstanding fees from previous years of schooling they may have limits placed on their subject pathways unless debts are paid.
• If you need help with payment of school fees or ways this can be supported please contact the school to discuss your situation.
Some subjects in year senior will require students to
have their own device to select the subject.
These are subjects that are heavily based around
computer use.
There will always be alternative subjects running
where a device is not a required part being in the
class.
• Students complete selection online in
OneSchool (on school or home
computers).
• Print selection; Parent and Student to sign
• Hand in to office by Friday 6th September
Subjects running in 2020 are dependent on student choices
and the school’s physical & human resources and these
may impact a subject’s ability to run.
OneSchool Subject Selection
Subject Preference Process
