A medical scheme funded by the College, entitles any student to
attend the College medical officers attheir surgery. There are two
registered medical practitioners for the College. Students may
choose from
one if the following medical practitioners below at point of
registration. Dual registration will not beallowed, registration
with both medical practices constitutes an invalid choice and
consequently you willbe deemed not registered.Please ma e your
decision carefully as the practitioner you choose will remain the
same for the durationof your academic programme.

3ach student has an allocation of two visits per semester for
their chosen medical practitioner. 4isitsoutside this allocation
will be at a cost to the student.
Students may only avail to this service during term time. 4isits
to medical practitioners outside of termtime, i.e. during the
student holidays will be at a cost to the student.

St Patric s College.Doctor Surgeries operate from Monda! to
Saturda! at the following times

A #emale 6urse is in attendance on Tuesday and Thursday at the

3mergency out of hours service from this surgery is available.
The student is required to call thesurgery number (% - // %0 where
they will be advised of the number of the on call doctor.Charges
for this service will be incurred directly by the student who does
not have a validmedical card.

you to the bus stop at *arts Corner.$edical staff are in attendance
as per the hours set out below and consultations are

A #emale Doctor is available during surgery hours and by
appointmentThe surgery will provide up to two medical consultations
per Semester to the student during theacademic year 2((+9%(.
#ailure to eep an appointment without due notice to the surgery
shallbe deemed as a :6on Attendance; and consequently this will be
deemed as one of the fourmedical consultations allocated.
Additional consultations during the academic year will becovered by
either a student medical card or a special reduced student rate per
consultation,payable directly by the student who does not have a
