The Math Tutoring Center provides tutoring and learning services to all students needing help with their math courses. It is located in Cullimore 214.
The center provides specialized help in the following courses:
Math 107, Math 108, Math 110, Math 111, Math 112, Math 135, Math 138, Math 211, Math 213, Math 222 and Math 238

NCE Math Tutoring
Newark College of Engineering (NCE) will be offering weekly help sessions Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6:00-9:00 pm. The help sessions are open to all students of Math 108, 110, 111, and 112.

THE WRITING CENTER
CHEMISTRY LEARNING CENTER
The Writing Center, located at 115 Cullimore Hall, is a free resource which offers on-site tutoring. We provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions to students from all disciplines, during the fall and spring semesters.
The Writing Center offers:
• Professionally-trained, experienced tutors who hold graduate degrees in related fields• Individual appointments of 40 minutes• Help with assignments, applications, reports, presentations, online courses, reading comprehension, oral presentations, online learning assignments, job applications and resumes, statements and proposals for fellowships, graduate school, and so forth.• Ability to work with online learning platforms such as Moodle, WordPress, and Camtasia• One-on-one and small-group sessions on reading, writing, speaking, listening, and on-line communication issues

Appointments can be scheduled by going to https://njit.mywconline.com.
Although we strongly recommend making an appointment online, drop-in appointments will sometimes be available during our regular hours at 115 Cullimore Hall: Mon-Thu 10:00 am - 6:15 pm, Fri 11:30 am - 4:00pm

Located within Tiernan Hall on the first floor in room 110T, the center is open five days a week, Monday - Thursday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and Friday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. The center is run by Professor Bhanvi Balasubramanian, [email protected], of the Chemistry & Environmental Science department also located in Tiernan 151.
The subjects tutored are Chem 121, Chem 122, Chem 125, and Chem 126. Please note: Organic Chemistry & P-Chem courses tutoring is available upon request only.

THE LEARNING CENTER
The mission of The Learning Center is to assist students both in the classroom and beyond by providing tutorial services, testing accomodations, academic coaching, academic and personal enrichment workshops, and staff and peer support so students can meet the demands of their coursework and are prepared for life after graduation.
The staff of TLC is committed to providing group and individual instruction which leads to student success. For questions or comments, please contact the office at [email protected]. The center is located at Kupfrian 200.
Tutoring
TLC provides tutors for undergraduates in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Management/Finance/Accounting, Matlab, and Physics.

CENTER FOR COUNSELINGAND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES
The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (C-CAPS) is committed to assisting students in the achievement of their academic goals, as well as benefiting from their personal experience on campus. College life can be personally challenging and stressful at times.
Their goal is to optimize the college experience and improve the quality of the lives of NJIT students by promoting their mental health and facilitating students’ personal, academic and professional growth.
