School Opinion Surveys

Parents/Caregivers, school staff and a random sample

of students are encouraged to have their say in this

year’s School Opinion Survey by providing their

opinions about what this school does well and how this

school can improve. Each of the online surveys are

currently open and will remain un<l 31 July 2015.

If you see something suspicious, please don’t

intervene. Call the School Watch number and let the

local police or State Government Protec<ve Security

Tuckshop for Term 3 will start on Monday July 11th.

Tuckshop will only be open for First Break for Term 3.

We are always looking for more people to help out in

Tuckshop from 9:00-11:00am. If you are interested

there is a calendar in the Tuckshop to put your name

down. We also have an exci<ng opportunity for you to

become the Co-ordinator of our School Tuckshop. Kids

love seeing their parents helping out around the

school. If you would like to become part of the

fabulous team of parents and volunteers in the

Oakwood Tuckshop, please speak to one of the P&C

Execu<ve members or to Mr Wolski and we can explain

more about what the posi<on involves.

Uniforms

We are adding a school jacket to the uniform!! If you

would like one you need to order by

tomorrow, Friday 24th June. The cost

is $32 and they will be ready to be

Chappy Chat

Hello. We have all made it to the end of another term!

Well done everyone!

Tape a Principal to the Wall

Unfortunately we did not win the 'Tape a Chappy to

the wall' fundraiser challenge for us to be able to tape

our principal to the wall. The winners were Central

State School, where Principal Mrs Marie Hillyard will be

taped this Wednesday. Thank you once again to

everyone who par<cipated.

Addi<onally Scripture union will be Taping a Councillor

to the Wall. Councillor David Ba0 has announced

that on July 16th he too will be puGng his body of the

line for Chaplaincy and will be taped to one of the

window fronts at Hinkler Shopping Centre. So join us

on the 16th July and support chaplaincy by taping our

local councillor to the wall.

Please keep safe these holidays in what ever your

family is doing. Also please don't forget to enjoy each

others company and make the most of the <me you all

have together.
