Student Learning Space (SLS)

What is SLS?Singapore Student Learning Space (SLS), an onlinelearning platform that contains curriculum-alignedresources and learning tools to support your learning.1. With the SLS, students will be able to learn better

through the use of technology. Students will be ableto learn anytime, anywhere, and at their own pace,whether independently or with their peers.

2. Teachers will also be able to use the SLS tocomplement their classroom teaching, furtherenriching students’ learning experience.

User IDFormat:5 (first 5 characters of your name) +5 (last 5 characters of your NRIC)

Important Note1. During the FIRST login, you will be prompted to

change your password.

2. You will need to key in your new password twice.Please note that the password must containalphanumeric characters and is case-sensitive.It should:• be 8 characters or longer;• contain at least 1 letter and 1 number; and• be changed every 90 days (you will be directed to thechange password page automatically)

Important Note3. After you have changed your password, youwill be prompted with an option to enter youremail address in the “Password ResetEmail Address” field. A verification email willbe sent to this email address.

4. The next step would be to set up theSecurity Questions.

Preparation• Login to Student Learning Space (SLS) and be

familiar with the portal.

Students without Computers or Internet access• For students without PC or Internet access athome, you may come back to school to use thecomputers in Com Lab 1 and 2.• Students are to report in school uniform.• Students are to report at 7.45am to Com Lab 2.(Attendance will be taken).• No loaning of laptops on that day.

will be taken as your attendance for that day.

How to access the survey?SLS >> “Assignments”

• Survey will only be available on eLearning Day (11 May 2018), from 0800 hours to 2355 hours.

• This survey is compulsory.

Absentees• Zero login to SLS.• Disciplinary actions will be taken for students

who absent themselves without a valid MC.
