University Park Athletics
The Intercollegiate Athletics program at Penn
State University Park includes twenty-nine varsi-
ty athletic teams, which play Division I sports in
the Big Ten Conference. The campus also offers
four club teams and a variety of sports clubs
and intramural programs for students of all
interests and abilities.
Activities
Penn State University Park offers more than 700
clubs and organizations: student government
organizations, musical groups, publications and
communications organizations, performing arts
organizations, nationality and diversity organi-
zations, clubs formed around academic interests,
religious and spiritual organizations, and dozens
of special-interest groups. From the Astronomy
Club to the Wildlife Society, we offer extremes

Three Broomsticks. This organization appreci-
ates and experiences J. K. Rowling’s Harry Pot-
ter book series with their own Quidditch Cup,
Yule Ball, Triwizard Tournament, and House
Cup. Others started the Juggling Club, Nittany
Knitters, and Paranormal Research Society.
With so many options, you’re bound to fi nd
something that is a good fi t for you.
For a complete listing of clubs and organiza-
tions at Penn State University Park, visit the
Student Organization Directory at www.sa.psu.
