StorMagic SvSAN Configuration inCisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) Tool

Introduction: Depending on your configuration the steps necessary to purchase SvSAN via the CCW tool can be different. The process for each of the examples shown below are described in detail in separate sections of this presentation.

Add SvSAN as an option to your C Series orderSvSAN will be shown as an optional component of your C220 or C240 order

Add SvSAN to your E or S Series server orderSvSAN can be added as a separate line item to these orders

Order SvSAN as a standalone itemFor integration into previously purchased UCS servers

SvSAN SmartPlayThere is a SmartPlay for the C220 & C240

Order SvSAN As An Option to your C Series Order

After selecting ORDERS from the menu bar, then CREATE ORDER from the drop down list, begin by typing the product name in the Search Box.

Enter UCS-C220 or C240 in the search box. Make your selection from the drop down list Then click

Next, click SELECT OPTIONS

Follow instructions in the Warning Box to clear the Warning Icons Next, select STORMAGIC from the OEM SOFTWARE list

Make your SvSAN license selection from the drop down list A PID with TB (UCS-STORM-2TB-1S) is SvSAN Standard Edition; TA will be Advanced Edition Click on the PID next to the Warning Icon

Done Click the radio button next to the PID to make your Maintenance & Support selection Next, click

Your configuration is now complete. Proceed to create your order.

Add SvSAN To Your E or S Series Order

After selecting ORDERS from the menu bar, then CREATE ORDER from the drop down list,begin by typing the product name in the Search Box. Enter C3260 (S Series is still noted as a C3260 in CCW) in the search box. Make your selection from the drop down list Then click

Next, click Select Options to configure the server and return to this page

Next, add SvSAN to this order by beginning to type the SvSAN PID in the search box. A drop down list will appear.

Scroll to your selection and click

Next, click Select Options to configure SvSAN

In the Warning box there are two requirements necessary to configure this item.

First, click the tick box next to UCS-STORM-TERMS Next, click on Stormagic Support

Click the tick box next to UCS-STORM-2TA-5Y Next, click DONE

Click signifying your acknowledgementDone

Your item is now validated and ready to complete your order

Order SvSAN As A Standalone Item

After selecting ORDERS from the menu bar, then CREATE ORDER from the drop down list, begin by typing the product name in the Search Box.

The drop down list will display products, select the one you want, adjust the quantity if necessary, and click

PID’s with TA (UCS-STORM-2TA-5S=) are SvSAN Advanced Edition; TB will be Standard Edition. A complete list of SvSAN PID’s appears at the end of this presentation.

The warning icon indicates this item requires attention.

Click on Select Options to enter the configurator
