Rearrange with the goal to visually lighten & balance. Keep heavy furniture away from the entry of each area by spreading the weight equally around the room. Pull the couches 15cm out from the wall to create flow. Include a glass top coffee table to create the effect of more space and remove window coverings altogether creating a more light and an architectural feel. Adding a large floor rug will divide an open plan room.
Improve your home’s traffic flow. How you move smoothly through your space has a big effect on
how big your home is perceived. The movement should have a nice wide feel to the path taking you
through from each room to the next. Declutter the entryway (no hanging coats).
