STEPS TO BUILD A PORTFOLIO IN ADOBE ACROBAT DC
Step 1: Before you start building the portfolio, make a folder on your desktop with all the files that you want to put in the
portfolio. The files can be Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, or video clips. Next left click on the "Start” button (looks like a window
pane) at bottom left-hand side of screen next to the “Search Windows” box.

Step 2: Left click on the "Adobe Acrobat DC" in the "Start" window.

Step 3: Left click on the "Tools (button)" in the "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC."

Step 4: Left click on the "Combine Files” tool in the "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC" window.

Step 6: Left click on the "Options” button in the "Combine Files" window.

Step 7: In the “Options” window select the following: “File Size” select the middle icon and “File Type” select “Portfolio.” In the
“Other options” section of the “Options” window, put a check mark in the box for “Always add bookmarks to Adobe PDF” and
“Continue combining if an error occurs”; leave the other boxes unchecked. Left click on "OK."

Step 8: From the folder on your desktop, select all the files that you want to add to the portfolio.

Step 9: Drag the files from your desktop folder and drop them into the "Combine Files" window.

Step 10: The files will load into the “Combine Files” window.

Step 11: Left click on the "Combine Files” button" at the bottom right-hand side of the “Combine Files” window.

Step 12: Left click on "File” at the far left in the ribbon at the top of the portfolio you just created.

Step 13: Left click on "Save Portfolio” in the drop-down menu, name the file, and save it to the desktop folder you made. You
can now drag and drop the portfolio into the Final Documents library in TMT. Remember to “pop out” the library in TMT first.

After you create your portfolio, you can open it and click on the icons for each file in the navigation pane to see a preview of
the file. The following screen shots show the preview screens. If you want to edit the file you select “Open Document” at the
top right-hand side of the preview screen. After you make your edits you click the save icon in the Adobe Acrobat DC ribbon
next to the “Document” button on the left-hand side of the ribbon.
