Position Overview

Commercial Services

Commercial Services looks after the strategic sourcing, contract, supplier negotiation and supplier performance management processes for the Westpac Group.

The Commercial Services Assistant will work within the Commercial Services team to provide support to members of the team.

Tasks may include:

Provide analytical support

Collect data to be used in procurement reporting

Support commercial managers with the development of procurement strategies

Support strategic activities including, but not limited to, tenders and requests for proposal, supplier negotiations, policy compliance and policy review, and contract development and execution.

Support the Westpac Group’s corporate sustainability objectives related to dealings with suppliers

Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree

Permanent residents and Australian citizens only

Identify as having disability

Candidates may be required to undergo a background check security clearance
