Personal Statement

I am a lively and friendly person who gets on well with people. I like to work alongside others as part of a team but I also work well individually. Within a team, I am particularly good at Delegation because of my Leadership qualities. I have a talent for instinctively knowing how to get a person to use their full potential, using their individual strengths to get the task at hand done properly. I work best around others because I am very sociable and I enjoy the company of people I am acquainted with. I am a bubbly person within my peers. I developed my ICT skills throughout school and college and am now able to apply them to my working environment. I pick up new software packages quickly and I now have a greater knowledge of computers and how they work. I am extremely confident using computer software such as spread sheets and Email, and can easily create a word document using all of the appropriate skills required. I was a dedicated member of the Army Cadet Force for 5 ½ years and since returned to them as an Adult instructor for 3 years. I enjoyed learning the skills I was taught and love being able to contribute to the lives of other young people like myself. I was most recently an assessor for a national training provider, and I am looking for a new position in which I can utilise my skills. I am a very organised and conscientious individual, with a passion for helping others to reach their hidden potential. I work well to deadlines, ensuring that each learner has a detailed portfolio to submit to the exam board. I work with each learner to achieve their functional skills in ICT, Maths and English, so I am qualified to a high level myself. I feel that a high level of training ability is one of my biggest attributes. I am patient and understanding and have worked with a variety of learners with different age, language and ability ranges. I currently travel a great deal within my role, so I am comfortable having to travel great distances. On average I cover around 2000 Miles per month, with some overnight stays necessary. I hope you can see me as a valuable member of your team, and I look forward to hearing from you.
