EC Malta: SharedApartments

Shared apartments are usually apartments (but they can be houses) in whichstudents can book triple, twin or single rooms. The properties are located in variouslocations all within 30 minutes’ walk and/or bus ride from our school (for exampleSt Julians, Swieqi & Sliema). The apartments/houses are spacious, well-lit andequipped with all the necessary facilities for self-catering including akitchen/dining area. Keys and/or key-codes will be given to students on arrival either at the airport orfrom our meet and greet team – the airport representative will let the student knowexactly what the arrangements are which depend on the apartment/house. ADamage deposit will be collected by the school.

For arrivals at the Malta International Airport - your apartment keys can becollected from the EC Representative at the airport (look out for the EC sign). If youhave booked your transfer through EC the Representative will also assist you withyour transportation. If you are arriving in Malta in any other manner, details for thepickup of your apartment keys will be provided prior to your arrival.

Students cancelling fewer than 14 days before arrival will be charged a one weekaccommodation fee at the standard accommodation rate and accommodationplacement fee.

Students leaving their accommodation must give notice in writing 4 weeks prior totermination. After deducting the price of accommodation used, including therequired notice period, charged at standard accommodation rates, students will berefunded the remaining accommodation costs. If the 4 week notice period is notprovided a cancellation fee equal to 4 weeks of the accommodation cost will apply.
