installation of six piezometers and up to 40 temperature probes
Water Budget Development• Early work to develop historical
water budget.
Round 3 Grant• If successful, preparation of grant
agreement, additional consultant work
Challenges
Technical memo on Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems took more time than expected.Site access agreements. Some delays but good progress being made on multiple fronts now (private land, City, County).Delays do not affect overall schedule, but can delay collection of new data. Currently mitigated by using water level data from shallow wells and use of groundwater flowmodel to examine predicted changes in groundwater conditions.
Fiscal
Anticipate using contingency funds for up to 2 additional workshops in FY 20/21.
During FY 20/21 budget process, we will propose moving approved contingency funds into contracts to cover this effort.
Round 3 Grant- if awarded some scope and budget changes to contracts will be necessary to reflect additional funds for installation of data loggers and other work.
Summary
• Significant work last quarter.• Schedule concern with field work being
mitigated.• Seating of Stakeholder Advisory Committee
means significant new work will take place.• Schedule graphic shows interrelationship of
technical work and workshops.
