PROBLEMS?

• Number of enumerator • There are double task function in the district and

province (as a staff as well as enumerator /collecting data)

• Time to collecting data becoming late to submit (time lag) one year

• The accuracy of data • availability and accuracy of the data related the

performance indicator of organization

Page 20: Statistics of Fishery and Aquaculture in Indonesia

20

CURRENT CONDITIONS CONDITIONS EXPECTED

EFFORTS TO IMPROVE

The number of enumerators in the province and districts are not sufficient . In some province there is only one enumerator work . Then, the changing position of enumerator are often changed

At least one enumerators to handle the sample villages

recruitment the temporary enumerator and cooperation with BPS-Statistics Indonesia Provided the honorarium for collecting the data

Late time data presentation (time lag) per one year

Data presented at the beginning of next year

Created the architecture data for data real time prediction by dynamic system

Lack of capacity of staff Quality of data improve Short term training On the job training

Matter of reliability of data due to coverage area very large

Availability of data Giving an understanding of the importance of quality data start from enumerator to the responsible person ( DGs)

Problems, expected condition and effort to improve
