Station OperationsTAS has operated out of San Francisco International Airport (SFO) since 2004 and currently employs 130 individuals. Its business lines include warehousing, ramp handling, two ramp control towers, ramp scrubbing and into-plane fueling.
TAS SFO also provides an on-airport warehouse, ramp control tower services and ramp-scrubbing services 24/7, as well as into-plane fueling and ground-handling services. Additionally, the airport’s only hydrant-fuel parking spots for freighters are located directly behind the TAS facility.
Warehouse Specifications• 73,000 square feet• 16 dock doors• 20’ scale and four (4) scaled work positions• Automated bypass system• Cold storage (BUP-capable)/temperature-controlled room• Forklifts with built-in scales• Valuable cargo vault• Special cargo handling: AVI, HUM, VAL, PER
• Dangerous goods acceptance• On-airport ramp access with wide-body aircraft
parking (hydrant fuel) • Load planning/weight and balance• ETV system with a ULD storage capacity of 120 units• Truck-drivers’ time-control application• CCTV system with 33 cameras• Electronic inventory management
