An entire heavy rocket battery was emplaced behind OmahaBeach,
sited to fire on the troops as they landed.
28cm sWG41 Nests use the Stuka zu Fuss special rule (page245 of
the rulebook), but have only four rockets insteadof six. As a
result, they only have four attempts to rangein. reat them as
rained troops when rolling o Hit afterranging in. Once fired, the
entire team is removed from thegame.
Static rocket launchers are Nests and not part of anyplatoon.
Tey may use any Command team as a Spotter,provided that the Command
team has not moved since thestart of the game. As none of these
teams are trained artil-lery observers, they receive the same +1
penalty to Range Inas a Company Command team.

Tese rocket launchers are not the mobile Nebelwerferlaunchers of
most rocket artillery units, but static 28cmschweres Wurfgert
41heavy rocket launchers like those fittedto the Panzerpionier Sd
Kfz 251 Stuka zu Fusshalf-tracks.
Unlike their vehicle mounted cousins though, there areonly four
rockets on each launcher, potentially lessening theimpact. Tese
weapons use the Static Rocket Launcher rulesbelow.
A Static Rocket Launcher Battery follows the
FortificationPlacement rules on page 262 of the rulebook.
A company containing a Static Rocket Launcher Battery asits only
fortifications is not a Fortified Company.

Earth & Steel. Grenadierkompanies and Fallschirmjgerkompanies
from Fortress Europeand Grey Wolfcan field a Static Rocket Launcher
Battery instead of a Divisional Support Rocket Launcher Battery
(page 53 of FortressEuropeand page 169 of Grey Wolf).
