3:40 a.m. Naomie's Testimony of WhatHappened Through the Night

After I was finished reporting to you last night, Icould tell you didn't hear me that you were alreadytaken away unconscious. The Lord took you rightunconscious. You have been through a very severesession all day yesterday and through the night. Atfirst you were very still. I got done reporting to youat midnight. For an hour you were still quiet.Right at 1:00 your body started to jolt and jerk.You twisted onto your side. Your body started totremble. You twisted back onto your back andyour back bowed out of the bed. Your body wastrembling. Your head was thrown back. It keptknocking against the bed board. Your breath keptbeing taken away from you. At 1:15 you said, "Iam so miserable, so miserable. What is happeningto me? What is going on?" You said, "I ust feelsick over this. Ifeel sick. The Lord is allowing meto even atone for Uncle Allen andErnest that theywon't be totally destroyed. The Lord is givingthem an opportunity to repent as far as they can.The Lord loves those men. I am yearning that hewill take their lives before they turn traitor. He isshowjng me the)? will stand t rue" you sqjd "TheLord has required a great atonement to spare thispeople. Little do they realize how close they cameto being destroyed. Little does this family realizehow close they came to being destroyed. The Lordhas allowed me to intervene to make atonement. "At 2:00 your body again jolted really hard,trembled very severely. It lasted for about fifteenminutes. You said, "What is happening? What ishappening? "At 2:30 you said, "The Lord is showing mebrother Raymond Jessop will take over that home.He will be given Ernest's family for time and alleternity. Uncle Merril for now will live in thebasement of hat home to give him a better facility.

We will start a home for him right away. You said,"The Lord spared this people but i f I wouldn'thave been here even now this place would havebeen destroyed and burned by fire, the fire ofheaven. This whole land would have become such

a desolation. The Lordallowed me to atone." Youhad a very severe night. Your body has beenthrough such a great shaking. You said, "TheLord is judging all Israel. The men had better beaware. Once they lose the confidence of God ittakes a long time to earn it back and there is just notime left. The Lord is showing me He is givingUncle Allen and Ernest an opportunity to makesome degree of repentance." You said, "I don'tknow, I keep wondering i f the Lord has a writtenrevelation for Allen Steed also. I am reaching toknow. He hasn't told me to send anyone else awayyet. I am reaching to know if there is a writtenrevelationfor Uncle Allen." You said, "Now KeithDutson will take Uncle Allen's place in hewing therock bringing it forth out of he earth. He will needto be so prayerful, ahead and on top of hings andbe so implicitly obedient to never dictate theLord. "You said, "The Lord has also shown me thefoundation footings for the temple, the rock wallwill sit on the footings that on each side of he rockblock the footing will be six inches long wider oneither side so the footings will be four feet deep byseven feet wide. And on either side of he rock willbe six inches. The footings will be six inches wideron either side. You said, "The building is on theoutside dimensions 180 by 95. The insidedimensions is 174 by 89.At 3:00 your bodyjolted hard again. You said,"Oh, my. Oh, my. What is happening to me?" Yousaid, "Everything in me feels like it will melt away.Something is happening inside of me. I amreaching for understanding. Oh, the Lord is somerciful to us. We must realize we have beenbought with a price and now anyone who has to besent back, even the ladies, the Lord has told me tosay to them, 'I fyou want to go back to Short Creek

to develop greater faith speak now and realize thati f ou have to be sent away because ofbad eelingsyou cannot return here. The Lord will judge youand you will go down with the wicked." You said,"The Lord wants this people to realize what hashappened. They have been judged and the Lordwill continue to clean up this camp ofZion. Thebrethren need to realize to be sent away nowmeans they lose Priesthood and everything." Yousaid, "There is such a greater knowledge to cometo that the Lord is offering. It must be reached or,

sought after. This people must realize that whenthe Prophet is among them and they go day afterday without a training and he is among them, theLord has judged this people as unworthy to receivegreater revelation. We must stay at the work untilit is complete." You groaned you said, "Oh, woe.We should be so grateful for we are a very heavenblessed people." Then you went quiet until youcame to at 3:30. It is now 4:10.

6:10 a.m.The Lord took you from the family again.Don't just record what I say but describe what I

go through okay; but for sure record what I say.For the last hour you were still, I couldfeel thatyour body was trembling but you were not twistingand turning, you were still and you were tremblinglike it was mostly the inward trembling of your

Spirit.I got done reporting to you last about 4: 1O. Youcame to again at 5:30. At 4:30 you said, "TheLord is showing me that this is how I will be fromhere on out. I have to learn to take it." You said,"This is the 10th ofAugust, the day the temple wasto be started and what I went through yesterdaywas an atonement that we might have a little bitmore time to prepare. I realize that some of hesemen have been up day and night, day and nightthey are exhausted. I yearn the Lord to strengthenthem, bless them with health and strength. I hopethey are eating what they need to keep theirstrength up. You said, "The Lord is training me tolearn how to take this even as I go among people agreater atonement will always be in private, but Iwill continue to atone until Zion is redeemed. "You said, "The Lordwants Merril Jessop and histwo counselors set apart before the FirstPresidency does their work so they can beparticipant." You said, "There are many woundsthat need to be healed. The Lord will heal thewounds ifwe turn to Him. "

At 5:45 you sat up on your elbow.4:45.Yes, at 4:45. You sat therefor quite some time.You didn't say anything while you were up on yourelbow. About 5:00 is when you laid back down.You said, "This doesn't go away. Doesn't go

away. The Lord and the heavens are weeping overUncle Allen and brother Ernest and this wholepeople. The Lord loves those men even still. It isaccording to the degree of heir repentance He willremember mercy on them, but justice has to besatisfied. You said, "Now we must go forward andnot look back. That is what this people needs torealize. We have to go forward now. This workmust succeed, must succeed. "

At 5: 15 you said, "There is much work to bedone today. The Lord still wants me to go amongthe brethren and check their spirits and see if helight is in their eyes." You groaned and said,"This people has been bought with a price, all ofus have by all of he Prophets. Little do we realizethe great pain we put them through; but withrejoicing they sacrifice their all that we may live. Iknow I am the weakest, lowest among them withrejoicing I want to sacrifice that this people mightlive.

That Zion will rise.That is the last thing you said before you came

to. At 5:30 you had some bread and juice. It isnow 6:25.10:45 a.m. Official Meeting of the First

Meeting House was brought forth. The brethrenappointed had received constant warnings andpleadings from me: Get the equipment here. Beinspired, the way will open up. But time after timethey gave excuses why they couldn't do it.

It became in Allen Steed's and Ernest Jessop'srelation with me that they were finding everyreason to not do what the Lord had directed. Theywere finding another way feeling justified becauseof circumstances. I kept explaining to them,"When the way doesn't open up that is the test tosee ifyou will exert greater faith." Finally, as I wason site - the Lord had stopped them in brining forththe rock - I came on site, the Lord had me stay upall night right with them. He touched the stone -it softened up - it came out; the top layers had tobe removed to get down to the lower layer, andthen they began cutting the stone.

And the Lord directed that the first twenty-fourstones we were to have prayer circle and ask theLord to touch the stones, softened while it sawed,harden it when it is processed. And then every onehundred stones we were to have the circle prayerasking the Lord to touch those stones and hardenthem, teaching us to exert faith like the brother ofJared where the Lord would touch the stones.

The Lord had me stay right there until 7:30 inthe morning August 4th and then He took me intoi'eibiio1i2

went out there and saw they hadn't prepared verymany stones. I encouraged them. I came back.And then I performed that work in the Lord of tocounsel Sam Barlow what to tell the lawyers.

I hope I have those disks. You will go get themwhen I am done with the ordinance work.I will have you hear those disks. Do you have

the disk or the recording in handling Ernest andAllen Steed? I would like them to hear that.

These brethren in this next room were presentduring that correction. But this was Wednesday,August 4th , the Lord had me busy by phone withUncle Sam and the lawyers until about 4:00 in theafternoon. I then went around and by 6:00 theydidn't have any more stones ready and we were toprocess twelve thousand stones. And they didn'teven have two hundred ready and the next day theLord extended it to August 5 - from August 1 t toAugust 5th to have the meeting house done.

And that is when I was awakened and I stood upfrom our circle prayer after the next hundredstones were dedicated and I said to Allen Steed,and others, "You are fostering a failure and youknow it. And you have done nothing. You are justgoing merrily along and watching the failurehappen. And the Lord told you to have everythingready for this project." And I said, "You should besending out for every saw you can find in thisarea." Because they had one saw that wasn't evenproducing one hundred stones in three hours. Andthe next day was the deadline.

I am going to tell you this in confidence but Iworked with Allen Steed and Ernest for thesemonths to be ready for this. August 10, was knownfor months and they still didn't have the equipmenthere to remove the stone, to saw it into shape andhere we are desperately trying to catch up. Andnow we are to August 10, and weren't not here; wedon't have it ready. And that is rejecting Godwhen He offers such a great blessing as a templeand His presence and we didn't do our part.

So through the night of August 4, until August5, in the morning the Lord required an atonementagain. And then He had me call Ernest Jessop andtell him, "You are worthy to be destroyed, you andyour family and you are a man of compromise."And then I told Ernest what the Lord showed me inthat dream over a year ago that I presented to thepeople in the move how certam men were gIvendirections to move the truck close and theywouldn't do it. They would park it blocks awayand I had to call the young men to help move thatdistance. And the Lord had me tell Ernest, "Youare one of those men that compromise that whenthe Lord speaks, you don't seek unto Him, youjustfollow your own will. And you are ready to bedestroyed and cast out. And ifyou have to be sentaway from here you will lose Priesthood and yourfamily."

Then the Lord had me call Allen Steed and hehad me relate that dream to Allen Steed and theLord showed me this about him that as I wascarrying the weight alone, trying to open the door,he was not only one of those who wouldn't openthe door, but he was standing in the way notallowing me to open the door. And I gave him theLord's warning: "You have known His will andyou have justified compromise after compromise.

You are ready to be destroyed. Repent dearbrother. Ifyou have to be sent away, you will losePriesthood and your family, and you will berejected."

I then went in search of them and sought themout, hugged them, blessed them, built them up,encouraged them to press forward that we havemissed the Lord's schedule now the test is will westay at it.

But the night before August 4, I had drivenaround, looking at the projects here and I justhappened to meet two of the ladies who wanted togo see Barbara's grave site. And I got them on thefour wheeler with me and we drove past thesebrethren, Allen Steed and Ernest up by the gravelpit. And the strongest warning came over me andthe Spirit said, "Those men are in conspiracyagainst God." I drove past them and drove backand again, the Lord warned me: "They are inconspiracy against God." And I had to stop andstare at them. And I beheld their dark spirit. Theywere living in a self ustificationofwhy they didn'tobey the Lord's directives. And then I finallywalked up to them to shake their hands, to feeltheir spirit. But that is what the Lord warned me -that because those two men in the leadershipposition here on this project wouldn't obey theLord, all the rest of Zion's camp was ineise13eei8ss8 is tRiir S Q i Q i i s ~ i is i b , Q ~ i me];!' Avdyet all ofZion's camp here knew the Lord's will.

I left here. I drove back to RI on the 6th TheLord took me in hand on the 7th. And again he hadme go through another atonement. I thank theLord for that gift and principle. But I did make acall Saturday afternoon to Short Creek and Ilearned that Ernest Jessop was calling for me. So Icalled him here. And everything he said was acompromise. And he had so lost the Spirit of Godthat he wouldn't tell me what he had searched for,he would say, "This brother asked thiscompromise. That brother asked that. What doyou think of changing this?" And everything hetalked about was a changing of the Lord'sdirectives. And I said, "No, you can't do that, theLord said this. No, you can't do that the Lord saidthat."

And when I hung up the phone, and the Lordwatching all we are doing, He took me into an

immediate session, so severe that for about threehours I was left paralyzed; yet I could talk. I hadthe family gather in circle prayer. I had three in theroom praying for me, and they felt and witnessedthe presence of God; and they heard me voice thisrevelation which I wil l read to you brethren.

And where are the copies Naomie? Are they inthe back? No. Are they in this? I don't see them inhere. So that these brethren can read with me. Didyou put them in?

In the midst ofmy experience with the Lord andHim present, Him only allowing my voice to work-- and those present were -- two of them weresisters to this man that was handled and in theLord's mercy, He let them feel the all-consumingfire in His presence and have a witness that when Ispoke, it was the Lord speaking. And they, in Hismercy, after I voiced this revelation, He had mesay to them, "Don't you have sympathy againstauthority in what the Lord is doing with this man oryou will fall." And the Lord allowed his sistersthat are sealed to me -- this is one of them -- towitness and have a knowledge this was God doingthis work.

This was at 6:45 p.m. Saturday. This is why Iwas not able to come and visit with you brethrenbut by 10:00 I was recovered enough to have Isaaccome over and get the message to you that we wereleavillg. Alld tiletl tlre Lord irad IIle leave qaickenough that I wasn't able to meet with you but Heshowed me we would meet here. I will read thisslow enough that you can hopefully absorb it.

Revelation Given to President Warren S. JeffsAt the Place of Refuge RlSaturday, August 7,20046:45 p.m.1. Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you,my servant Warren Jeffs, whom I havechosen in the last days to perform thework of the redemption of Zion and to

prepare a people for mine own presenceamong them:2. Behold L the Lord, have rejectedErnest Jessop as the presiding Elder inthe Texas Stake ofZion, for even now hehas called upon me through you, myservant, to compromise my will unto him

in the labors appointed.3. And I have borne with hisweaknesses and heard thy prayers in his

behalfandforgiven him many times. Yet,he continues to rely upon his ownstrength and will not apply unto me, theLord his God, for the guidance andstrength to do my will.

4. And let him remove himself andreturn to the Short Creek Stake ofZion todo as he will.

The Lord won't even give him counsel now.5. And let there be appointed in hisplace my servant Merril Jessop to be setapart as Bishop of the Texas Stake of

Zion, and let there be appointed as hiscounselors my servant Raymond Jessopand my servant Joseph Steed, to be astrength unto my servant Merril Jessop inestablishing my cause of the fulness ofZion on that consecrated land.6. And let there be no disputationsamong you, but accept ofmy will. Andhewho is worthy, I will uphold through thetrying scenes; and he who is not worthyshall be cast out from among you.

I am verse seven and it goes to the other side.Verse seven.7. And verily, thus saith the Lord untoyou, my people, who have been called bymine own voice out of the heavens,

be prepared and have burning withinyou, individually, the powers ofmy Spiritas a shield ofprotection and as a powerto do.

9. My arm ofmercy is stretched outstill unto those who will obey my willthrough my servant. Leave judgment tome, and I will repay.

10. And I call upon you, my people, torepentwithfull purpose ofheart, lest sorejudgments come upon you, even upon thelands ofrefuge. For I the Lord shall not

be mocked in these last days, but greatsorrows shall come upon those whodisobey the revelations ofmy will.11. And my word shall be fulfilled,that the sinner in Zion shall fear, and thepure in heart shall be protected of me.

And surelyL the Lord, have spoken it andshall fulfill.12. And I say unto you, my servant, Lthe Lord, withdraw Priesthood fromErnest Jessop, and his portion shall bewith unbelievers; and they who areappointed unto him, L the Lord, shallreserve them for another, as they provefaithful unto me.

That is his family.13. Let the quorum of the FirstPresidency of my Church travel to the

Texas Stake ofZion and perform the workI have appointed there.14. And verily, I say unto you, myservant, L the Lord, shall reveal more ofmy will when you arrive to that place.

And the Lord had me in session all day and allnight.

15. The experience I am taking youthrough in allowing you to suffer andatone for my people who can qualify forffleJulness oj Don, and me experiences 1shall yet allow you to pass through, myservant, shall bring about my purposesupon the earth in the preparation of apeople to redeem Zion. And behold I amwith you.

16. L the Lord, shall forgive whom Iwill forgive. You are to forgive all men,my servant and my people; and look untome for protection, deliverance, andblessings unto eternal life.17. This is the word of he Lord untoyou at this time. My peace be upon you,my servant, and those who will hearkenunto my words through you. Even so,amen.

So as the quorum of the First Presidency, do allpresent receive this as binding upon the Church ofGod on the earth?

Response: Yes, Sir!.And let the record show this quorum receives it.I will allow you to keep that in your books; but mayI take it with me and hand it to you there, unlessyou would like to read through it again.Uncle Wendell: I would like to.Okay. Hand it to me before we travel so I haveit in one place.Response: Yes, Sir.I am going to allow Naomie to come kneel here.I would like you to hear a testimony why I needyour prayers brethren. And I sent word to you. Itrust you got the word twice.Uncle Wendell: We got it once.I seek the humility of heaven in this way thatCelestial justice has to be administered for mercy

to be exercised. And only God can administer thatCelestial justice. So I acknowledge that only Hedoes this. And the principle ofatonement has beenexercised by every keyholder of Priesthoodunknown to the people. And you brethren areallowed to know to a degree of what is involvedthat you can lend strength. I am grateful unto theLord for you. Yesterday I had to even call on thefamily and also three ladies to come in with me tokneel and pray for me that my life would be spared.I am just informing you of the Lord that theatonements now are getting so severe it is asthough my life is taken and then restored. And thatis why I need your prayers brethren and why Irejoice in the Lord for you that there is a quorum ofPriesthood that is one and that He will honor.This is one ofthe ladies present at R 1 Saturday.I am making a record of this.You can just speak up.She is just going to voice what she felt and

witnessed to the degree she is allowed and let youbrethren be aware of what is happening. I rarelyvoice these things myself. Much of what I gothrough can't even be described because it is theLord doing it. But I will have her start where shewas present as I was at a heavenly session and I gotoff the phone with Ernest Jessop.

Speak loud.Naomie: Do you want me to say what I saw?

What you saw, what you felt, what I had you doand touch, what you heard. Speak up loud like youare yelling. This girl talks soft. If you can't hearher, raise your hand or something and she willrepeat. And look at them. Seek the Lord's Spirit.Loud.Naomie: I pray for Heavenly Father's Spirit to

guide my words as I bare testimony ofwhat I feltand witnessed. After Warren got off he phone, itwas about 3:45 in the afternoon, he was ready towalk out of his room but the Lord took himimmediately into session, so severely that from3:45 until 5:30, he seemed somewhat unconscious.As I was sitting on the bed watching, praying forhim, the Lord allowed me to see in vision to adegree what Warren is going through.

Can you hear me?And it was as though, I don't think I was asleepbut it was as though I could see Warren walkingthrough this low valley and the load he wascarrying was so heavy. He was going slow butvery steady. And it was as though he was sweatingblood as he was trying to lift this load and carry it.

And as I was in that condition I heard him voice,"Ernest Jessop is rejected ofGod. "You heard me voice. I voiced it in the heavenlysession the Lord's words that Ernest Jessop wasrejected. Go ahead.Naomie: And that he was very displeased withAllen Steed, the Lord was very displeased withAllen Steed. And as I was witnessing Warren gothrough this low valley, the Lord allowed me to seehow the pressures were coming upon him so heavy,

and it was getting heavier and heavier and I kepthearing him call my name but it was as though Icouldn't move, I couldn't speak until finally it wasas though I was standing in front ofhim or besidehim as he was walking and he looked at me andsays, "Are you with me? "The Lord was preparing her for what he wasabout to do with her brother.

Naomie: And that is when I could talk and I satup and I said, "Yes, I am here." That was at 5:30and for another twenty minutes he went throughthe most severe trembling. know it was the Lord's Spirit taking him throughthat atonement. I could feel the presence ofGodthere. And he said to me at about ten minutes to6:00, "Go and tell the ladies to kneel in circleprayer and pray for me that my life will be sparedand I will be strengthened. "And then he said, "You bring Ora back in hereand you two kneel and pray for me." And I went

and told the family and I told Ora that Warrenwanted her to come into his room. And he told mebefore she came in to prepare her to tell her whathadbeen happening. So before we stepped into hisroom I said, "Ora, he is suffering so greatly. " Andshe said, "Nomie, we have to succeed this time. "And I said, "I know and so does R17 and they arenot ready. "

As we walked into his room he trembled evenharder. And I know he goes through thattrembling so that we will be protected as the Lordis there. When we got in there he said, "Go getIda. Go get Ida, Naomie." So I stepped to go pasthim and I looked up and I could see a pillar of ightand it got brighter until I could see a personagewith a flaming sword and the Spirit said, "Do notaccuse and do not sympathize, or I will destroyyou, right now." And I was riveted in my tracks. Icouldn't move. I just had to stand there and look.And I said in my heart I said, "I believe what theLord does is right. I know He does right, and I willobey. "

You see brethren, the Lord guards those whoare close to me and work with me that they must beone, or they will be cast out and destroyed. But theLord was favoring this young lady to have awitness that what I was about to do in the Lord'sname was His will, this revelation. As this brotherErnest was considered by all the family as the mostobedient son, and yet he had disobeyed anddisobeyed. So in the Lord's mercy He waspreparing those close to me to receive it. Justconsider all three of you came in the room andwhat I had each ofyou do before the revelation wasgiven.

Naomie: About 6:30 he said, "Ida, come andtouch my finger with your finger." She stood up.She went and he said, "Just a finger." I waskneeling closest to him and then Id and then Ora.Ida got up and even as she touched him I could eel

such a fire serge through me. He asked her whatshe felt and she told him. And then he said, "Ora,you come and touch me." And Ora did the same.Andshe told him what she felt. Then he said, "Nowyour turn Naomie." So I stood up, and as Ireached my finger out to touch him, and as Itouched him, the most powerful serge of theall-consuming fire serged through my body justwith a touch ofa finger more powerful than I haveever felt it. It was as though I - my strength wastaken. I knelt down on the floor and he said,"Okay, back away. "

And a few minutes later he said, "Put therecorder by my mouth." So I picked it up andturned it on and put it by his mouth and he said,"You can write and so can you Ora. " Andat 6: 45he dictated that revelation. But as he dictated it,his voice was the voice of God. It was Godspeaking through him, and I know it was. After hefinished he said, "The Lord has shown me that myvery next breath is His gift to me, my very nextmovement is His gift to me. He said, "Don't yousympathize or accuse God, or you will be cast outand you can't be part ofme. "

And I asked all of you if you accepted theLord's will. It continued on about a three hoursparalysis and then the Lord began to restore me.But He wouldn't let me go forward on anythingelse until I gathered the brethren here in thewaItmg room, the members of the HIgh CouncIlfrom Short Creek, Ernest Jessop, Allen Steed,Raymond Jessop and then I read this revelationand told Ernest Jessop and Allen Steed they wererejected of God and had to leave the land beforemidnight. I directed Uncle Merril to take chargeand when I came we would ordain him.

So brethren, this group ofZion's camp, even thefamilies here have received rebuke after rebuke.Now the brethren have been doing a constant pushofphysical labor.This morning the Lord had me go among themand look in each man's eye and feel their Spirit andsee if they are compromising or if they are withGod. Thus far it is the sons ofAllen Steed that arestruggling with bad feelings right now. Perhapstwo brothers ofErnest are having a struggle. UncleMerril has passed the test. He respondedimmediately, thanked the Lord knowing of the

seriousness of this, but thus far Uncle Merril isapproved of God. And I voice all this that we maybe one and we join together now and lay our handsupon the heads of hese men and set them apart fortheir mission. And then I will go over a few morethings with you brethren.

The Lord favors those who attend me withenough of a witness that they know it is the Lorddoing it, handling me, giving his word. So I oftenhave them come and touch me so they can feel thewitness ofthe all-consuming fire from heaven thatthey can be at peace at what they witness and feeland always the Lord's work progresses bytestimony. So I am bearing these testimonies toyou that you may feel the witness that we may beone.

What has taken place in Ernest Jessop and AllenSteed and thus many of the people here that wereunder their direction is they began following anearthly vision of this heavenly mission andallowed earthly circumstances to cause them tostop their faith and not fulfill the Lord's directive.And it got to where they were so deadweight, I washaving to command them to even take a next step.They wouldn't even take a step without waiting onme to receive a revelat ion of what to do next whenthey should be men that are inspired knowing theLord's directives. And I have just been among the brethren tellingthem what had to be done. He has even revealedthe exact size of the outside and inside dimensionsof the building, how big the footings are, how tolay and assemble the stones - and that is what Iwill need to go over with the workers. These menwere leading - Ernest Jessop and Allen Steed intheir responsible positions - were leading all ofZion's camp here to destruction in theirdisobedience, and these other men following thatdisobedience. The Lord as of yesterday was readyto destroy us. Literally, He told me, He was readyto send fire from heaven to consume this land andleave it desolate if I hadn't been here. But Herequired an atonement.

And now He will have me hold a meeting, giveanother strong correction, invitation to repentance,and now the warning of the Lord is that any man

who is dismissed from this mISSIOn has lostPriesthood, has lost his family, and he will nothave a place among us, especially those set apart tobuild the temple. The Lord has had me set apartabout eighteen men by ordinance, laying hands ontheir head to be temple builders, set apart for thatmission.

So the Lord is choosing from among the menthose allowed on the temple site. And they areplaced under strict covenant to keep sacred thingssecret and if hey betray that covenant, they will becast out and lose Priesthood. After all thewarnings I gave those men, those men on Saturdaytalked to me by phone asking all thesecompromises, asking the Lord to change what Hehad directed. And it had happened so many timesthe Lord had rejected them. And it shows how Heis watching us so close in how we respond to Hisdirectives. So are you brethren understanding andat peace and one with the will of God?

Response: Yes, Sir.And yet the Lord told me and I also say it, "We

love those men." And the Lord had me say to thosethem, "You would be dead right now except theLord allowed me to atone for you sufficient thatyour lives will be spared to repent to the degreeyou are allowed and to make some atonementbefore you pass on."

The Lord had me tell Allen Steed, "You havetreated me like a boy, as though the directives Ihave given you can question and question andquestion, and change. And you have not realizedmy position before the Lord; when I speak, it isHim speaking and not just of myself." And Iwarned them the Thursday morning last that theywere ready to be destroyed - to repent. But theydid not. They continued in the same pride.

Brethren, oh how I have ached over them. AndI have felt the pain of the Lord over them as He hasmourned over them as fallen. Men after his ownheart, yet they rejected His will time and timeagain. I had warned them many times, "Stop beingmoney managers and stop letting earthly thingshinder you. The Lord will open the way. Meet Hisschedule. Be ahead and prepare." The Lord hadme correct certain men today. Fred Lindsay is thecrew boss and he was corrected for being so empty,blindly following these uninspired men when he

knew the Lord's directive, going along withcompromises when he knew the Lord's directivs.Also when I arrived here August 3, early in themorning, I found out three of the men appointed tobuild the temple had left to go get their families.Ernest Jessop allowed them to leave without theproject being done. So this morning the Lord hadme correct them, and I have done it to two of them,"You brethren so displeased the Lord He wasready to destroy you, except He allowed me tocome here and atone for you." I voice this only toawaken our minds to what is involved in theredemption of Zion; the Lord gives a directive andwe must give our all to accomplish it.And He is now having me for the last monthclean up Zion's camp. Even this quorum wascorrected. Until now I count twelve men that havebeen sent away from Zion's camp. I told you about

Abraham Draper Barlow and how the Lordhumbled him and yet spared his life. The Lord hastold me He is now going to allow accidents andeven death to come upon us to see if we will staysweet and keep building Zion and come to acondition where it is our very survival to succeedin this mission. And you know what is happeningagainst us in Short Creek and in Utah in particular,it will result in the driving of the people and theshedding of innocent blood. And the Lord isdirectin me and trainin me how to 0 into suchdeep hiding as I travel so that I will be able andempowered and guided by Him to gather thefaithful ones.

So I voice this brethren to me and you, The dayof choosing is even upon Zion's camp. And to bechosen of the Lord we have to choose Him everyminute, every thought, every desire. We have tochoose Him for Him to choose us and live in thatconstant devotion of fervent prayer dedicated untoHim, the prayer ofrejoicing, reaching to be led andbeing led until the blessing comes and stay at it.Now concerning Rl, the Lord has directed mehat I will go back to the Short Creek area, train afew more men and call upon certain businesses toring forth monies in secret into a new landolding company - the Lord will reveal who

se officers are - and purchase the lands by Rlo expand our holdings there. And hopefully weill build the new houses there on those expanded

lands and not be so confined. We need to exert thatfaith until the blessing is given and not think that,"Oh we are stopped in a work, that is the Lord'swill." Because the Lord's will is we acquire thoselands. And as we acquire the land of those ladiesbeyond MrBramble, He will soften Bramble'sheart if we will but have the faith. And though wecan't see where we will get the means, the Lordwill open the way. We also have the templeproject to do here. And as that is constructed herethe devil will rage further, and it will take aconstant faith even to where the men working onthe temple will have to ask the Lord where the nextstone should come from and ask Him to touch thatstone to have the strength to be part of he building.

The families here have been forbidden to go tothe temple site or the rock quarry unless they areindividually set apart for that mission.Today Uncle Merril and Joseph Steed have notbeen set apart for that mission, but the Lord wantsthem set apart for that mission to be a templebuilder. Raymond Jessop has already been setapart by ordinance. So if you brethren will assistme, I will have those men come in and sit here andI will first give them some instructions.

AndI love those men, and I simply say it this way, theLord allowed me to intervene that their lives wouldbe spared. He was ready to destroy them -- thatthey would have a little more time to makeatonement and repent to perhaps earn somePriesthood blessings. And I give myself and all ofus this warning ofthe Lord that He is through withthe halfhearted among Zion's camp. And thehalfhearted in Zion's camp are those that know theLord's will and compromise His will. And now itrequires the faith of the brother of Jared, which isimplicit, inspired, joyful obedience to earn hisblessings.These men and it focused on brother Ernestbecause of his responsible position, these men

were leading Zion's camp to destruction. And theobedience of others to their directives wasdisobedience to God where the Lord said thisneeds to be done and those men found excuses tonot fulfill His will. The Lord has allowed themtheir lives. I will work with brother Ernest'sfamily. After the First Presidency moves or leavesthis land, the Lord would like you, Uncle Merril, tomove into the basement -- is it Raymond'sapartment? They are downstairs from you. Andyou have those better facilities, those three roomsdown there.

And you are to begin a house for you and yourfamily right away.The First Presidency home must be done byAugust 20. And I noticed a skeleton crew there,hardly anything being done. We must meet theLord's directive. Also, the Lord allowed me tointervene. Today we didn't meet His schedule. Ihave been to the crew at the temple site and therock quarry. The Lord has appointed Keith Dutson

to take Allen Steed's place, to take charge of therock work and the rock quarry. Thus far onlyNephi Jeffs is appointed and we have used EdsonJessop and Guy Jessop as very capable at whateverthey are asked to do. I have been over there anddescribed to Keith Dutson how much further weneed to expand that rock quarry and how deep itneeds to go as there is better rock even deeper thanwe have gone.

But Uncle Merril, by September 29, a templerough construction has to be done: the rock workup, the walls up, the roof on and the walls framedinside and the rooms even their dimensions andplacement in that building are revealed. And it issacred and secret. The only ones allowed on thoseareas, the temple site and the rock quarries arethose set apart by ordinance to participate. Andyou three brethren as you are set apart will also beset apart as temple builders and allowed on thosesacred sites. Brother Raymond has already hadthat gift.I have listed some things Uncle Merril thatErnest was directed to do. I am grateful for thegood he did, but he reached a condition where hewould not make any move unless I commandedhim. And his communications with me were whatothers wanted to do, and he had lost inspiration. I

hope you brethren will come up to the mark. Youtwo work close with Uncle Merril, be inspired andbe ye one. And I counsel you three to meet threetimes a day and if one ofyou are gone on an errand,the others do it and have circle prayer, praying formyself, the First Presidency and this mission to beaccomplished. Those working on the temple rockare being trained to dedicate every stone and askthe Lord to touch every stone to be strengthenedand that is how constant we have to be devoted toHim.The First Presidency home needs to be doneright away. of the processing of the rock, a rock quarry is rightnext to the temple. And Ernest was directed to getthe power down to that site and they just foundexcuses to not do it. We need the power there evenif it is a generator. We have in process a watersystem need. We need to get the water down there,a well drilled, a water tank purchased and put in.We also need to keep the sewer systemengineering effort going so that the governmentcan't come upon us. I need to talk to you UncleMerril personally about the cement project. Andalso some apostates are demanding thegovernment let them in here to see Barbara'sgrave. And then be doorkeepers during the meeting where they can listen.Ladies with little ones go downstairs to the westclassrooms, not the east. We stay away from thateast end.The Lord has a correction for the people. It willhumble us and then He has the offered repentanceand how we can earn His confidence. But in theeyes of God, His description of the people on thisland is that we are in spiritual shambles towardim. And much of that is because of theleadership that had to be corrected. Presidency to help raise up men and women whocan come in the presence of God. And all theseprojects must be done with the individualsdwelling in the lively increase of the Spirit ofGod.And the push is not just a physical labor to get a jobdone on time, it is men and women the Lord wantsto develop into the condition of becoming likeGod, filled with His Spirit.Suppose we get that sacred building built, yetwe are not individually qualified to go into thatbuilding, receive the ordinances and the presence

of God, we will be cursed; to have that sacrededifice properly built, but if our personalpreparation isn 't in place, we will miss the blessingstill. We have to live as though we are walking inthe presence of God now. He is watching us thatclose. We are affecting the advancement ofthe work of God and the very lives of thePriesthood people. This isn' t just for ourselves andour own families.

Brethren to fail in this mission means innocentblood will be upon us knowing the Lord has this asa door of deliverance for the faithful ones He willgather to the lands of refuge, and if we fall shortthrough a lack on our part, we could be guilty ofthat judgment. This mission must and willsucceed, the Lord giving the increase. And we willall see it is the Lord that has done it. So be lovingfathers but be loyal to God and His will, inspire,invite, and realize you are helping to raise up menand women Godlike, and able to come into thepresence ofGod. And you live as though the Lordand the angels are walking beside you from thismoment on.

You appoint Uncle Merril, and you brethrensupport him with such a oneness. Use them as youneed, even the financial affairs or keeping track ofd1Jties And from this mowent OD when the T ordgives a schedule, you are planning ahead. Anddon't think, "Well I am stopped because I don'thave the means." The Lord will open the way ifwewill just step forward. I love you brethren. I bear witness the Lord iswatching us. And what He wants us to do is earnthe blessing, because the Lord is well aware thatwhen He hands a blessing to people they easilytreat it lightly. And He saw that at the beginning ofthis next step, this step in the redemption ofZion,in establishing the lands ofrefuge there was hardlyone person prepared for the redemption of Zionamong all the Priesthood people; and so He hastaken us through constant experience and trainingto develop the faith to where we have to lean on theLord for the gifts and blessings. Now the Lord is

warning us: He will allow the tests to come upon usso severe, we will have to exert the faith to evensurvive. But faith is only faith if it is the prayer ofrejoicing. Remember that vital key.

In the dream I related to you at meeting whereeverybody was pushing me, pushing me, and yetthey wouldn't allow me to open the door. Thosekeys that opened the door are fervency. Anotherone is the prayer of rejoicing. Another key thatopens the door of success is reach to be led and beled. And then knowing the will of God the nextkey is reach for the strength of heaven to do Hiswill and then keep that prayer of rejoicing. Soeverybody pushing and when I would try to use thekey and nobody would do as they were directed,the physical push doesn't redeem Zion, it is theheavenly gift accompanying the physical workthat opens the doors of deliverance.

So when you meet challenges or seemingroadblocks, it is time to regroup, have the prayer ofoneness, go to the Lord and don't justify a failureever again. And it will be the Lord testing us to seeifwe are loyal to Him and you will see the miraclesofheaven take place. The Lord wanted me to giveyou instructions before your ordinations. Ihave witnessed with the laborers such a constantpush to catch up in the work, for we have fallenbehind the Lord's schedule, and this is what theLord was testing us on. As we missed Hisscbedule He was seeing if we would stay at it.And for most here, that portion of the test has beenpassed.The Lord has sent me to this land to perform awork. Also the First Presidency is here to take thenext step in these important projects, and here wesit in this meeting on August lO t\ the appointedday for the actual walls to be started in building thetemple, and we are not ready. among this people is implicit, immediate, inspired,joyful obedience.The Lord is angry with this group of people.How angry? He told me if I did not come herequickly, He would have left this land desolate,empty of inhabitants. But there has been acontinued physical push. He has shown me thatmany here could feel the Lord's concern. Theyhave been seeking Him in great fervent prayer andrepentance. But now what, brothers and sisters?How many times can we fail and the Lord donothing, and we be deceived that we are stillaccepted when the blessings that He has offeredare not given, and He is fully able to give us thegifts and blessings we need, but they do not come?So the Lord has sent me to give a correction tothis people. I hope and pray that from this point onwe won't have to live from rebuke to rebuke. And

this warning and correction includes a judgment,that from this time forth, for any of the men to bedismissed and sent away from this mission, theLord withdraws Priesthood, that man loses hisPriesthood blessings and he cannot return here.The Lord has told me to declare to the familymembers that if you are dismissed from thismission, you will not be able to return. The Lord isthrough with the halfhearted in Zion's Camp. Howimportant is your fallen nature, your spirituallaziness, even our bad feelings? Is it worth losingeverything for?

The Lord appointed certain men to be in charge,under my direction, and in His patience He workedwith them. But these men continued in a conditionof challenging the Lord's will to where nearlyeverything they were told to do, they found anotherway or reasons to not accomplish what they weretold. All ofyou knew the Lord's schedule and thatwe needed to be ready this day to begin the temple,and you can see we are not ready. The Lordshowed me that if these men were not handled, Hewould scourge all ofZion's Camp. And the Lordhas a lesson in this for us.

I love these men. The Lord told me they aremen after His own heart, like David of old. Theirsin is not the same. Last Thursday morning, whenthe Lord showed me that these men continueddoing their own will and would not do the will ofGod, He showed me what they were doing and

what their condition is. He was ready to destroythem and their families and scourge all this people.And He had me warn these men that they wereholding up the work ofGod, and if hey didn't tumthis around immediately I would have to cast themout.Saturday afternoon, by phone, morecompromises were suggested and desired to goagainst the Lord's will. The Lord took me in handand showed me how serious this was in His sight.And He gave this revelation, which He wantedwritten and presented to this people as a warningand training of how important this mission is, thatwe are not just affecting ourselves. And to openyour eyes, I say these words of truth: Through ourindividual failure we could affect the lives ofothers, and in a day of driving, persecution, andthus killing and death, we, this Zion's Camp, could

be guilty of innocent blood shed by not havingperformed our mission and prepared the way ofdeliverance as we have promised the Lord wewould do. And it is individual selfishness. It isdeadly.I don't go over all the detail incidents. Much ofmy communication with these brethren wasprivate. But the Lord showed me when I was hereWednesday and Thursday, He was angry withthese men and with this people. Brethren, the Lordhas shown me that some of you do not have the

The Lordtold me through the night that this group ofpeopleis in spiritual shambles in His sight, and a lot has todo with the uninspired leadership that He has hadme correct.I announce to this group of people that ErnestJessop and Allen Steed are dismissed and sentaway, and now the Lord has appointed and had the

First Presidency ordain and set apart BrotherMerril Jessop as the bishop and presiding elder ofthis stake of Zion. Brother Raymond Jessop hasbeen ordained a high priest and is set apart as firstcounselor to the bishop, and Brother Joseph Steedhas been set apart to the office of second counselorto the bishop, a quorum that must act as one. Nowall you brethren will report to Brother MerrilJessop to report to me, and give him your full

support. And thus far, even in this correction,Brother Merril Jessop is approved ofGod.The Lord wants me to read this revelation tohopefully and finally wake us up of how importantthis mission is. The Lord has also been watchingevery person here as they have heard of thisdismissal and adjustment to see if you rejoiced in

the Lord or ifyou took on doubt and darkness andbad feelings. I say to all of you, beware. Whenmen are told by the Lord what to do and they adjustHis directives, they become a conspiracy againstGod, and if the Lord [were] to allow this tocontinue and all of you follow that leadership, allof you would have been destroyed, continuing onthe work of going against the Lord's will, rightwhen thought you were doing His will. Weforgive all men. I yearn after these men. I tum tothe Lord for His will to be done.

F or the families of these men, if you desire toremain here, the Lord has a work and a place foryou. And the right thing to do is thank the Lord forHis will to be done. Ifanyone takes on the spirit ofsympathy against authority, questioning theLord's judgment, they will lose Priesthood andPriesthood blessings.I gathered a group ofmen here by phone. Some

of you have heard this, but the Lord wanted all thepeople on this land to hear this revelation. And thisappltes to [he t1nIittles. IryOu are sent away, yOUwill lose the blessing. The men were offered anhonorable release, and if they continued here theyknew there would be serious results if they broketheir covenants.

The work you are rushing to do right now, thesebrethren were directed, and all ofyou knew of theditective, to be leady mId ltdve it perfulllled iUIIgbefore the schedule had to be met, and here we are.Even past the August 1 t schedule we weren'tready. Now the Lord wants us to go forward withthe temple, and we are not ready. So the Lord iscalling upon the presiding elder and his counselorsto be so inspired that you look ahead to the needsand are never caught short in what is required.And it is for every elder to be fervent in their faithfor the presiding elder and for me that there will beoneness exerted.

I was not asleep to these problems. I wasdealing with them constantly for months.Repentance was offered, corrections were givenoften, until it affected whether or not this missionwill succeed. And know this, dear people: We areaffecting the very lives of so many others. Youknow the Lord's word through the Prophet Joseph,to not live just for ourselves, but live unto God andHis purposes to be fulfilled.

Hesitation in our obedience is the sign of fear,not faith. And hesitation is deadly in the economyand work of God, and that is what has taken place.lfthe Lord withdraws from this people, we will bedestroyed, scattered, and driven. And it is theresponsibility of every person on this mission tolive in the lively increase of he Spirit ofGod. Andeach person here should feel the heavenly fireburning within increasing moment by moment.These brethren and some here have been deadweight, having to be commanded in all things, notreaching to be led, but judging from pastexperience or self-wisdom.

Now, dear brethren and sisters, the Lord hastold me that we have demanded of Him hardexperience. And the experiences coming upon thisPriesthood people and upon us will be so severe, itis a matter of our very survival, physically andspiritually, that this mission succeed. And we willface experiences where we will have to exertourselves. The Lord is going to do this because wehaven't done it on our own through the sweetinvitation of His word. Already I am under suchdirect attack, it will affect all the people. The Lordhad me tell you that I must not submit to therequirements of the government where theydemand to rule over the will of God and theCelestial Law. And now you will be tested.

I say to my family and the families dwelling onthis land, the Lord is watching you. You were senthere to serve everyone by building up thestorehouse, being a strength. And you are undercovenant to live the first two great commandmentsunto perfection. And I repeat them. Are these justwords to you that you can dismiss when yourfeelings rise up? These commandments earn you,when lived, earn you eternal life. They should beour very thought and breath and feeling and word,to reach to be led to please God, to love Him, tolove the Lord your God with all your heart, might,mind, and strength with a spiritual energy andexertion to dwell in His will through prayer andrevelation, and thus dwell in His approval. Andthen through that love focused on Him throughPriesthood, inspired, then you have the ability ofHim to love your neighbor as yourself, but alwaysfirst loyal to God.

has spared this people and this mission. And Hehas now told me He will give us till the 12th ofAugust, two more days to have everythingprepared, and the First Presidency remain to laythose first three blocks for the temple foundation. Iwill need to meet with Brother Edmund, BrotherFred Lindsay, Brother Merril Jessop and hiscounselors, who have been set apart to build thetemple; and others have been named and set apart.

Especially for you men who have been set apartby ordinance to be temple builders, if you betraythis mission, you will lose Priesthood, you willlose everything. And betrayal is through the lossofthe SpiritofGod. Temple builders must be menthat whatever they touch, through their faith andthe power of Priesthood, the Spirit of Godstrengthens, beautifies, guides, and gives theblessing. And the angels will attend you throughyour faith, and skills will be revealed. But the Lordhas told me this group of people is in spiritualshambles because you cannot be one with God andgo against His directives.

I love you, brothers and sisters. I have felt thepain of sorrow in the heart of God over these menand this people. And though I am but a mortalman, through the Lord's doing it, if ! were not here,He has told me you would already have beendestroyed, every one of you. You have been~ Q Q ~ 8 t '\qtb: a p r i ~ e , aRtQ your life from tbismoment on is because of the Lord's mercy. AndHe loves us still. This is serious business.

I have been listening to the previous trainings inmy travels. It is marvelous. The Lord has givensuch detailed warnings and teachings. We havebeen taught. Perhaps only the little children couldbe excused from this responsibility; and yet eventhey are being watched by the heavenly powers.You know Zion means obedience. You know Zionis the Spirit ofGod. You know Zion is a labor andconstant revelation. Don't be dead weight. Reachfor the strength of heaven. Be inspired. The Lordwill guide us into a oneness with Him.

This meeting and this correction is a gatheringeffort. We are stilling living a scattered faith. I sayto us, the Lord wants the First Presidency housecompletely finished by August 20. So let thebishop and his counselors see to that. There ishardly a crew on it right now. It is being treated

very lightly; and here we are coming up to anotherscheduled date and we are already missing it. Atthe same time, the temple has to be pressedforward. Only those appointed in that mission byordinance can be present when those first stonesare laid. Others can qualify, but you have to beindividuals that can dwell and work with the Spiritof God and the angels attending. And if you arenot, you will be detected and sent away. This is theLord's house that we are bUilding. It is not just aphysical work project.

Now brethren and sisters, I told you the dreamshowing our condition, where everybody wasbehind me pushing, pushing, and yet we didn't usethe key to open the door. What opens the door?What is the key? You have been given many keys.To open the door of deliverance and success toearn the blessings, first you must use the key offaith. Next is the key of fervency and devotion,that constant faith. You have the key ofthe prayerof rejoicing. That opens the door of success. Andyou have been given the key truth of reaching to beled until you are led. And then you have the key ofreaching for the strength of heaven in followingthose sweet whisperings.

The Lord showed me that there is a wonderful,hard, physical push. He has left us at it, eventhough we haven't met His schedule, to see if we1XTOllJd yearn for th e slJccess oftbis mission Andas hard as you have pushed physically, yes, youhave pleased the Lord to that degree. But for someofus in our spiritual shambles, we are not applyingthe personal growth. If you do all this physicalwork, and even help build the temple, but you arenot growing spiritually, you will fall short and missthe blessing of the temple ordinances and thepresence ofGod.

So I repeat with great emphasis, a physicallabor without spiritual growth, YOU ARE DEAD,and you are dead weight. And the wordof he Lordis, ifyou continue in this manner, any of you, youwill be sloughed off. Now that is the warning. TheLord's invitation is, He will be with us yet. Let usrefocus, get behind the appointed leadership, andadd spiritual strength to that leadership and to ourlabors. You who look bak could falter. If you startdwelling on all the whys and wherefores, youcould start questioning what the Lord has done.We must look forward. To be Zion you are

building Zion, looking forward to the presence andknowledge of God.

So the Lord gave us a test. Did you receive theLord's will when it came to your understanding-did you receive His will with rejoicing, or did youtake on any degree of bad feelings? That will beour test in every experience from now on. Evenunto suffering and death, the Lord will see if weare Zion, if we are living in the prayer of rejoicing,reaching to be led, and thus living in the livelyincrease of the Spirit of God, so your feelings arenever disturbed. And though I weep over thesemen, and any others that have to be handled amongour whole Priesthood people, I love the will ofGod, and His will is life when we abide His will.And we are working for the salvation of allmankind of all ages who will obey the Gospel ofJesus Christ through Priesthood. And thePriesthood in the spirit world and the Priesthood inthe Celestial Kingdom and the Priesthood on earthis working as one as we do the Lord's will, all forthis grand cause of the fulness of Zion beingestablished.

We have had many corrections. The Lord wasready to scourge us for so many of turning traitor,where we broke confidence, revealed the secretsHe had given us, as He tested us to see if we couldendure the knowledge of the temple and templeordinances. But even yet, the gossip, the rumormill, it is all betrayal of the Lord's trust. Leavejudgment to God. Let us do right. And be warned,that we have entered into such great and sacredcovenants with the Lord by receiving this mission,with blessings beyond measure offered, that if webreak those covenants, we will be cursed, and noneof us wants that. So you have taken a step of noreturn to back to what you were before. You havetaken a step toward the Celestial Kingdom and thefulness of Zion.

36. ... do not look back; but be believingand exercise perfect faith in me, the Lordyour God, and establish my cause ofZion; forthe powers ofheaven shall attend an obedientpeople who seek unto me, through myservant, and through obeying every word of

God, and through the repentance ofall yoursins and weaknesses; dwelling in the livelyincrease of he love of he Father through mySpirit burning in you.37.
