James Dornan, born on 1st May 1982, is an actor, model, and musician from Northern Ireland. He has
played Sheriff Graham Humbert in the ABC series ‘Once Upon a Time’ and he was nominated for a British
Academy Television Award for Best Actor as serial killer Paul Spector in the BBC Two and RTÉ One crime
drama series ‘The Fall’. He has starred in ‘Marie Antoinette’, ‘Anthropoid’ and, most famously, Jamie
plays Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades franchise.
He attended and boarded at Methodist College, Belfast, and went on to Teesside University, but
dropped out and moved to London to pursue his acting career.
Jamie has worked as a successful model landing contracts with Select, Abercrombie & Fitch,
Aquascutum, Hugo Boss, and Armani. He has also worked with Dior Homme, Calvin Klein, Dolce &
Gabbana, Zara, Banana Republic, Dior, Calvin Klein and Levi Jeans.

Traditional British May Day activities include Morris dancing, crowning a May Queen and celebrations involving a Maypole. Many of these traditions are pagan Anglo Saxon in origin.
May Day has been a traditional day of festivities throughout the centuries and is mostly associated with towns and villages celebrating springtime fertility, and is observed with revelry at village fetes and community gatherings. Perhaps the most significant of the traditions is the Maypole, around which
traditional dancers circle with gaily coloured ribbons.
• Keep the plants well-watered, because the soil dries out fast. Apply a water soluble fertilizer according to package directions every two weeks.
• Watering roses with soaker hoses or drip irrigation will reduce the spread of black spot disease.
• Plant ground covers under shade trees that do not allow enough sunlight to grow grass. Vinca minor or English ivy are ground cover plants that grow well in shade.
• Mulch around newly planted trees and shrubs. This practice reduces weeds, controls fluctuations in soil temperature, retains moisture, prevents damage from lawn mowers and looks attractive.
• For maximum landscape interest in a small, vertical space, try annual vines. They can disguise ugly walls
and fences.
• Do not over plant. Be sure you know the mature size of each plant and allow for growth.

Effects of Acidity
Destroy everything solid in the mouth including fillings as well as natural teeth
Acid wears your enamel so teeth become more sensitive, look yellower and are
more likely to chip or break.
Sources of Acidity
• Food and drinks- fruits, fruit juices, pickles, vinegar, lemon in water
• Hiatus hernia, acid reflux
• Vomiting
• Alcoholism, acid in the alcohol and vomiting
Our Advice
• Be aware of the food and drinks you consume frequently
• Reduce the amount and frequency of consuming acidic food and drinks
• See your GP if you suffer acid reflux as you may be able to have medication that helps
• Finish meals with neutralising foods such as cheese
• Do not brush straight after vomiting or acidic drinks.

"I Travel 140 Miles To Have My Check Up"
When I first came to Lambourn over 10 years ago I had loose twisted front teeth & bleeding from my gums
when I brush, you might say my mouth was a mess.
Since then the front teeth have been replaced, straightened and match the rest of my teeth giving me confi-
dence to smile, something another dental practise could not do. Through hygiene treatment and good advice
the bleeding ended.
For many years I have feared the dentist due to the old fashioned way teeth were drilled and filled. Now I go
regularly to Lambourn for my check up, scale & polish.
So why do I go to Lambourn to see Fatima, Lucy & Liz? It's because they all have the personal touch, a welcom-
ing friendly approach to everyone that walks through the door, your not a number but a patient sometimes
fearful of what is behind that door!
I no longer live in Lambourn but I still travel 140 miles twice a year to have my check up. Mad you say, maybe
but my teeth look great.
