Jbi-Wan takes &uke to Tatooine with the intent to watchoer him from afar' while &eia was sent to #lderaan and raises her. Loda goes to agobah toawait the arrial of &uke.

E(isode I0' 0' and 0I (ick u( a((roximately nineteen years after the eents of E(isode III' duringthe %alactic 8iil War' which leads to the downfall of the %alactic Em(ire at the hands of the$ebel #lliance. These films follow the story of &uke Skywalker' the son of #nakin Skywalker' andhis rise in the $ebel moement against the Em(ire. &eia' now a Drincess and a member of theIm(erial Senate' sends a (lan for hel( to Jbi-Wan enobi. &uke inadertently interce(ts themessage and meets enobi. #fter the murder of his aunt and uncle by Im(erial Stormtroo(ers'&uke >oins the ragtag $ebel #lliance. 2e trains to become a 3edi like his father' whom he belieeswas betrayed and murdered by arth 0ader. When &uke learns the truth N that his father isarth 0ader N he is (rofoundly shaken. es(ite this' &uke successfully resists the efforts of0ader and the Em(eror to turn him to the ark Side' instead turning his father back to the &ightSide of the Force. # mortally wounded 0ader then kills the Em(eror' while the $ebel fleet scoresa decisie ictory against the Em(ire' by destroying the second eath Star. The $ebel #lliance7sictory eentually leads to the end of the %alactic 8iil War' the downfall of the Em(ire' and theformation of the 1ew $e(ublic.
