STARFISH EARLY ALERT
• Convenient way to report on student academic progress and course concerns throughout the semester.
Starfish EARLY ALERT Overview
• EARLY ALERTS are critical to Success Coaches & Advisors in order to identify, assist, and intervene with students who may be struggling.
• Feedback matters to students; it alerts them on whether or not they are meeting course expectations in order to be successful.
• Motivate and/or nudge your students to take corrective action. Each alert directly notifies the student by sending it to their Rockets email.
• Support the strategic goal of improving student success at UT.
• FLAG: Alerts the student of any concerns with their academic progress.
• REFERRAL: Campus resource recommendations to better assist and support students on their academic journey.
• KUDOS: Positive reinforcements to encourage the student along their academic journey.
