SOLUTION
AB InBev wants to provide brand consistency and lower merchandise costs
through demand consolidation and logistics optimization. Staples uses industry-
leading global operations to make the same branded products easily accessible
to more than 125 international wholesalers. To do this, we implemented an
eStore with a coordinated merchandise assortment inventoried for immediate
shipment from the United States, United Kingdom or China. Distribution from
these geographies minimizes freight expenses, reduces lead times and offers
a worldwide solution for an international brand.

When HP needed to promote its promotional
program worldwide, Staples presented
a cohesive, single source solution. Our
global staff and operations help HP
consolidate spend, assure brand standard adherence and achieve consistency across key locations. Staples

countries, including 12 regional eStores and
a dedicated HP team.

SOLUTION
Apple counts on a crisp, consistent presentation of its brand identity worldwide through its signature retail
staff T-shirts. Staples supports the
manufacturing, importing and distribution
of retail staff shirts to nearly 400 Apple
retail locations around the globe with a
creative and precise supply chain.

OBJECTIVE
Enhance brand and sponsorship visibility.
SOLUTION
Chase wanted to make sure their brand was a tangible part of the U.S. Open experience for their VIP guest. Staples created a
custom assortment of caps, visors, sunscreen, apparel and lanyards,
while securing and documenting all of the necessary USTA approvals.
Our account team helped distribute the products to guests inside the
Chase Lounge VIP tent to ensure the U.S. Open was not only a tennis
experience but also a Chase experience.
OBJECTIVE
Drive employee engagement by providing a branded retail experience.
SOLUTION
To provide ESPN associates and visitors a true “retail store” shopping
experience, we extended our online eStore partnership to offer a brick and mortar store on the client’s closed campus.
Staples owns, operates and stocks the store, which has become a
popular site for occasional filming and celebrity athlete appearances.
USOC Co-Branded MerchandiseOBJECTIVE
Increase revenues from sponsor base, provide tight brand
control and elevate awareness among consumers.
SOLUTION
Since 1988, Staples Promotional Products has worked hand-in-hand with USOC’s sponsors as new product marketing strategies are developed and rolled out. From counsel on product selection, to design specifications, to creative
implementation, Staples is the go-to source for the sponsors’ USOC-related promotional
plans. We also manage USOC retail stores in Colorado Springs and in Chula Vista, California.

Increase core product sales at national warehouse club stores.
SOLUTION
Coca-Cola wanted to sell Coca-Cola beverages at national warehouse
club stores. Collaborating with our client and a diversity manufacturer,
we developed a custom tub to creatively package Coca-Cola bottles for
prominent end-cap displays. This value-added packaging was a huge retail hit, selling out quickly and generating six times the profit of soda alone!

Simplify branded apparel ordering with
specialized ordering platform
SOLUTION
When 2,000 Siemens Healthcare Division Service
Technicians and Managers needed branded shirts
for on-the-job use, Staples took care of all of the details, eliminating the work for Siemens. We created a specialized ordering
platform that made ordering fast and easy. The
platform presented a variety of stylish shirts for
employees to browse, select and order during
a limited time window. Garments were then
produced and shipped to each employee and
detailed reporting and summary billing were
provided to Siemens.

Increase customer engagement with iconic merchandise.
SOLUTION
Regions Bank advertising features an iconic green bicycle
that represents their four brand principles of stability, control, comfort and simplicity. Staples
turned the bicycles from an advertising symbol into reality
by sourcing, custom manufacturing and fulfilling this
signature green bicycle. We also developed a matching
green helmet, bicycle bell and pen. These custom
pieces are a critical component to help drive customer
engagement with the Regions brand.

Enhance brand perception by supporting healthy living marketing campaigns.
SOLUTION
Staples supports Kaiser Permanente’s “Live Well, Be Well” Campaign through
many different events and a variety of branded merchandise. Items such
as cookbooks and pedometers are intended to inspire Kaiser Permanente
consumers and employees to live a healthier lifestyle. By offering unique
merchandise, we help link Kaiser Permanente’s brand to healthy choices and elevate their brand perceptions with consumers.

SOLUTION
When IBM turned 100, we helped the
company celebrate with customers and
employees worldwide. We provided a
merchandise collection housed on over
75 different eStores globally and available
in up to six languages. The collection
provided highlighted the iconic achievements, innovations and ideas that comprise the prolific history
and core of the IBM brand.

Engage and educate children on healthy living by leveraging
brand equities.
SOLUTION
United Healthcare uses a mascot named, Dr. Health E. Hound, to
engage and educate children on how to live a healthy lifestyle. Staples produces a number of custom products to help
support this campaign. From custom shaped fans, to creative
and colorful children’s plates based on the portions of the U.S.
government’s new food pyramid, Staples further promotes Dr.
Health E. Hound’s healthy lifestyle message to all ages.

SOLUTION
Rain Bird recognizes the importance of motivating their dealer channel through incentives and was in need of a streamlined
rewards fulfillment process. Our online order solution
and elite selection of branded and lifestyle rewards
resulted in a smoother and improved experience for
both client administrators and dealer participants.
The result has been more discretionary effort from
the independent sales force.

SOLUTION
Liberty Mutual wanted to recognize and reward over 600 top-performing Liberty Mutual agency owners and employees for their annual President’s Club Award. Staples
developed a unique gift platform that rewarded recipients in three
phases. For the first phase, cheesecakes and branded serving
accessories were fulfilled. The second phase included 32,000
Brookstone speakers sent individually to agencies across the nation.
In the third phase, President’s Club winners received personalized
gift cards to be redeemed on our Incentive & Recognition platform.
This approach allowed our client to extend the positive recognition
experience over a longer period of time and the ability to personally
choose their rewards.

SOLUTION
As a key corporate objective, Waste Management
aspired to drive a culture of engagement and
recognition within their company. Staples
implemented a service anniversary program and
an online points-based recognition program to
promote companywide participation in Waste
Management business objectives. Our single

more focused communications and enabled
employees to consolidate points from each
program to redeem larger rewards. The result is
