The Technical Production Graduates of 2015 would like to thank the following people for their support:

DOMI PRINCE [email protected] is an aspiring Stage Manager with a passion for Dance and Musical Theatre. Her QUT stage management roles include; Production Stage Manager (The Coast of Utopia), Deputy Stage Manager (The Hot l Baltimore, Dance Grad 2014, Survival). During her degree Domi has also undertaken opportunities to broaden her knowledge in lighting, sound, vision and staging. Most recently she has completed stage management secondments with Sydney Dance Company, Queensland Ballet and Expressions Dance Company. Domi’s ultimate aspiration is to work in Stage and Production Management for a dance company, and she is looking forward to exploring other aspects of the industry along the way.

THOMAS [email protected] his time at QUT, Tom has undertaken a multitude of technical roles building on an interest in lighting and vision. He has undertaken the role of Lighting Designer, on the David Bell directed The Coast of Utopia: Voyage, and on Production 4 2014. Other notable roles include Head Electrician (Hamlet) and Sound and Vision Designer (New Moves 2014). This year saw him travel to Sydney to complete a Production Management secondment with Syd-ney Festival; to Adelaide to undertake a Technical Management secondment with Adelaide Festival; and back to Brisbane where he recently completed a Logistics and Production Management Secondment with the Queensland Music Festival.

KYLE [email protected] Kyle has focused heavily on sound design during his time at QUT, he has also developed skills to become a multidisciplinary theatre technician. Over the last three years, Kyle has undertaken the following roles; Sound and Vision Designer (Splendor In The Grass), Deputy Stage Manager (Mnemonic), Head of Sound (Chorus of Disapprov-al), Technical Manager (Production 4), Sound Designer (The Coast of Utopia), Sound Designer (Hot L Baltimore) and Sound and Vision Coordinator (Actingworks 2015). This year Kyle has had the opportunity to undertake second-ments with Sydney Festival, Bleach Festival, Brisbane Festival and Guy Webster. Upon graduation, Kyle will launch his career in production with Sydney Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and Bleach Festival plus two creative develop-ments, The Beach Project and Eye Resolution.

KATIE [email protected] at QUT Katie has focused on stage management. She was the Production Stage Manager for Hamlet, Depu-ty Stage Manager on The Coast of Utopia: Voyage and New Moves 2014 and the Show Caller for Fashion Gradu-ation 2014. Katie has completed secondments with various companies both locally and interstate including; Circus Oz on rehearsals of But Wait…There’s More, Snuff Puppet’s Everybody for the Summersalt Festival, Australian Ballet’s pre-production of Giselle, Malthouse Theatre’s rehearsals of Timeshare, Grounded at Queensland Theatre Company and an internship with Production Stage Manager, Shaun O’Rourke, at the Queensland Ballet.

NICOLE [email protected] her time at QUT Nicole has focused on stage management, completing secondments with Brisbane Festival (QPAC), Queensland Theatre Company (The Seagull), Malthouse Theatre (I am a Miracle), La Boite (Medea), Brisbane Baroque (Faramondo), Sydney Festival (2015), Expressions Dance Company (The Red Shoes), Out of The Box (2014) and shake & stir (Revolting Rhymes & Dirty Beasts, Tequila Mockingbird). Nicole has also undertaken stage management roles at QUT, including Production Stage Manager (Dance Graduation 2015, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Production Four 2014) and Deputy Stage Manager (Splendor in the Grass). Nicole also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Drama).

KEEGAN [email protected] has been involved in various show roles since commencing his studies at QUT from Stage Manager to Head of Set and Flys. Keegan has worked on several QUT productions and more recently was involved in Under this Sky: Logan’s Musical Celebration as part of the Queensland Music Festival. Keegan has undertaken previous study at Southbank Institute of Technology where he completed his Diploma of Live Production, Theatre and Events (Construction and Manufacturing). He has also studied at Griffith University, where he completed two years of his Bachelor of Arts (Applied Theatre) before transferring to QUT.

MICHEALA [email protected] her three years at QUT, Micheala has developed a strong passion for stage mechanics and theatrical flying. She has undertaken the role of Head of Set and Flys multiple times on both Acting and Dance productions (Splendor in the Grass, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Hot l Baltimore, Dance Graduation 2014). During this year, Micheala has been seconded to the Queensland Theatre Company scenery workshop, Queensland Music Festival’s Under this Sky: Logan’s Musical Celebration, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s staging department and the Australian Tour of Richard Obrien’s Rocky Horror Show.

CARLI GRIFFINhttp://carligriffin.wix.com/[email protected]’s career focus is in stage management. Most recently she has been employed in this capacity at Opera Queensland, following her secondment as Assistant Stage Manager for La traviata. Other career highlights include Assistant to the Production Manager internship (Anything Goes, Opera Australia), Stage Management secondment (Peter Pan, Queensland Ballet), Stage Management internship (Robotronica, QUT), Assistant Stage Management secondment (The Red Shoes, Expressions Dance Company), Stage Manager (CALIGULA, The Danger Ensemble), Assistant Stage Manager (Jesus Christ Superstar, Arts Centre Gold Coast). QUT roles to date include Assistant Stage Manager (The Man Who Came to Dinner), Production Stage Manager (New Moves 2015), Production Stage Manager (Acting Works 2015).

TENNEALE [email protected] her degree, Tenneale has specialised in stage management. Her recent roles for QUT include: Deputy Stage Manager (Hamlet), Production Stage Manager (The Laramie Project), Stage Manager (Production 4 2014). She has also undertaken the following stage management secondments: Queensland Theatre Company (Ladies in Black), shake & stir (Revolting Rhymes and Dirty Beasts National Tour), a production internship with Melbourne International Comedy Festival, a secondment in site design with Sydney Festival and a role as Design Assistant on Expressions Dance Company’s The Red Shoes. Most recently she has worked professionally for shake & stir theatre co. on Dracula as Assistant Stage Manager.

CHRISTINE [email protected] in an aspiring Lighting Designer. She has spent this year learning from Lighting Designers such as; Ben Hughes (Samson; Medea), David Walters (Prize Fighter; Ladies in Black) and Jason Glenwright (Sunnytown). While at university she has also worked as Lighting Realiser (Production One 2014), Associate Lighting Designer with Glenn Hughes (A Chorus of Disapproval) and Lighting Designer for New Moves 2015 and Acting Works 2015. She has also undertaken roles as Head Electrician (The Man Who Came to Dinner), and Lighting Operator (Splendor in the Grass).

KIERAN [email protected] has a strong interest in both lighting and stage mechanics and has spent his time at QUT working in a wide range of capacities across a number of shows including Lighting Designer (Verbatim 2015) and Head of Staging / Flys (Essentially Dance 2014). In his third year he has completed secondments with Melbourne Theatre Com-pany, Brisbane Baroque 2015 and shake & stir’s regional touring program. He also travelled to Beijing, China as Stage Manager for the QUT Dance Department’s performance at the Beijing Summer Dance Camp and Festival. Post-graduation Kieran wishes to continue touring and building his career as a theatre technician.

SKYE [email protected] focused on stage management, Skye later developed a passion for lighting that saw her shift her major focus for the remainder of her degree. In 2015 she was Lighting Designer for Hamlet and Head Electrician for Essentially Dance. Skye is competent on a variety of lighting, sound and vision consoles / platforms. While stage management may no longer be her primary focus, she is capable of working in stage management positions. Skye has undertak-en secondments with The House of Dancing Water in Macau and on Queensland Ballet’s La Sylphide. Skye hopes to continue her career as a lighting technician and become a Head Electrician/ Lighting Designer.

REBECCA [email protected] her time at QUT, Bec has developed a love for stage management –and more specifically the art of being an Assistant Stage Manager. She has twice undertaken the role of Assistant Stage Manager at QUT; first-ly in 2014 on Splendor in the Grass, and secondly on Hamlet in 2015. Bec has also been a Stage Manager on Production Four 2014 and Production Stage Manager earlier this year on The Seagull, directed by Michael Futch-er. This year has also seen her undertake secondments at La Boite Theatre on The Wind and the Willows and at Queensland Theatre Company on Country Song. Bec also had the opportunity to travel to Sydney and complete a props based internship with Opera Australia.
