Standards Education Speakers Bureau 2013
Update for SEC: February 2013
Susan Tatiner and Rona Gertz
SESB Speaking Engagement Update
• Due to a reduction in the funds allocated to the Speakers Bureau Program ($9K total available through belt-tightening), changes will be made to the program.
• Revised goal for 2013 will be 4 speaking engagements.
• No honoraria will be awarded.
• “Alternating current” mode for SESB:
• In addition to filling requests for engagements for existing opportunities …
• We will try to create opportunities by offering one of our speakers in a location where he or she will already be. This will be less costly.
