The Hübener Group The Hübener Group was the youngest resistance group to

stand up to the Nazi’s during WWII. Helmuth Hübener (age16), Karl-Heinz Schnibbe (age 17), and Rudi Wobbe (age 15) secretly listened to

illegal radio broadcasts from London, typed up what they

heard into anti-Nazi leaflets and distributed them throughout Hamburg. They were eventually caught, brutally interrogated and tried before the infamous “Blood Tribunal”. Through it all they stood firmly for truth and freedom. The Hübener group today seeks to honor their sacrifice by continuing their fight for a better world.

Kathryn is an EMMY-nominated writer & director. Her feature film, Resistance Movement, and her award-winning documentary, “A Time for Resistance”, tell the incredible true story of the Hubener Group. She is passionate about sharing this inspiring story with others and has been invited to speak at film festivals, churches, prisons, schools and various conferences around the world, including an International Conference on Religion & Film in Italy.

Kathryn holds a Masters degree in Directing from the University of London. She is also a martial artist and 1st degree black belt. Kathryn lives in West Jordan, Utah with her husband and three daughters. She believes in the power we each have to make a difference in this world, and is excited to help your group find greater faith and courage to stand for truth!
