Porters move hundreds of beds, stretchers and other pieces of equipment every day. A single porter can travel 10 -15 miles a day, bending and flexing as they push and pull things along, around and into challenging spaces. The force needed to move a load can increase to over 10% of its total weight when taking into account uneven surfaces and slopes and of course there is an increasing population of obese patients in hospitals, with very high forces required to move them. Many other items require handling and pushing e.g. linen carts, catering trolleys, stretchers. All of this can put tremendous strain on a porter’s back for prolonged periods, making the risk of back injury a constant threat.

The StaminaLift bed movers are compatible with 98% of all beds, including the MMO range, bariatric beds, stretchers and portable equipment. There is no need to change the attachment mechanism so there is no risk of losing valuable parts.
Easy to use
This simple compact design allows easy connection to a bed or trolley. The claw design adapts easily to different castor sizes and expands easily from 550mm to 890mm, capturing the product by the castors.
Easy to drive
Once attached the dual drive system gives 360° manoeuvrability and allows the porter to drive equipment up to 600kg with the TS5000 and 900kg with the TS6000 in weight with one thumb. The StaminaLift bed movers are incredibly intuitive to drive, with unrivalled manoeuvrability. They even tackle tight spaces and tight corners with ease. The optional remote control allows a single porter to operate the bed mover whilst being able to open doors.
A solution for even the longest corridors
The optional ride-on platform is designed to assist staff with the lengthy distances travelled during the movement of patient beds. It enables staff to stand on the platform whilst manoeuvring the bed mover with or without a bed attached.

The StaminaLift bed movers can deliver significant benefits to the efficiency of patient transportation. They will also enable a reduction in the number of porters required to move equipment where this is not contrary to hospital policy.

• Controlled uni-directional movement during use eliminates the potential for castors to disengage from the jaw mechanism which could lead to loss of control of the bed. This therefore ensures porter and patient safety.

• Emergency jaw bypass system allows override of jaw mechanism if there is insufficient battery
• Brake bypass overrides brake mechanism to allow freewheel in an emergency
Reduced manual handling risk
When using a StaminaLift the user adopts a more upright posture, which is maintained despite the different tasks performed e.g. turning a corner. Accessories
The ride-on platform is designed to assist staff with the lengthy distances travelled during the movement of patient beds. It enables staff to stand on the platform whilst manoeuvring the bed mover with or without a bed attached.
The remote controller assists the operator to guide the bed mover through doors which require to be held open in order to pass. The remote controller enables operators to control the machine from a distance of up to 2m.
The Inside-Out Jaws are designed to assist with narrower trolleys and wider bed wheel bases.
Jaw inserts allow the TS5000 to attach to beds with castors as small as 100mm diameter. This add-on can be easily attached or removed and makes the TS5000 and TS6000 even more compatible.

The Inside Out Jaws are designed to assist with the narrower trolleys and wider bed wheel bases, where the traditional TS5000 Jaw Mechanism was designed for 95% compatibility with general ward beds.
