SUBTLE (IMP) HYPP NN | PSSM N/N STALLION SERVICE CONTRACT This contract certifies that ___________________________________, (herein referred to as to Mare Owner), has entered into this contract with Classic Quarter Horses (herein referred to as the Stallion Owner), for (no. of breeds required) ______ breeding/s to the Quarter Horse Stallion SUBTLE (IMP) Rego # Q-69639, for the Mare ___________________________ Rego #_______, Breed _______, for the 2012 breeding season, for a total service fee of $2,200.00 | $1,500.00, plus any pre- discussed charges. A $550.00 non-refundable / deductible booking fee, per mare booked, secures you a breeding for the 2012 breeding season. (The booking fee will be deducted from the stallion service fee.) ON FARM A.I. SERVICE - the Stallion Service Booking Fee must to be paid in full and a copy of mare papers, contract signed and executed by both parties along with the Mares clean swab report, must be supplied prior to the day the mare is to be serviced. Full Service Fee, Vet costs & any applicable Agistment payable is due prior to the mare leaving Classic Quarter Horses. The mare owner must make contact at least 15 days prior to anticipated time of the mare’s estrus cycle for availability of mare accommodation. Availability of mare accommodation depends on the notification schedule and mares on the farm. The mare owner is also responsible to insure that the mare to be bred is properly prepared for breeding: This shall include a clean swab report* from a licensed veterinarian. Mare should be cycling properly. The mare owner will be required to disclose a full breeding history, where applicable, to the best of their knowledge for the above mentioned mare. *Clean Swab Report is require, maximizing the chance of positive insemination results. The mare owner accepts full responsibility for the insurance of the aforementioned mare for the duration of her time at Classic Quarter Horses. Whilst all care an consideration is taken, Classic Quarter Horses will not be held Responsible or Liable for any injury, death or debilitation of the afore mentioned mare. 2. SHIPPED SEMEN - The Stallion Service fee and shipping fees, are to be paid in full and a copy of mare papers, contract signed and executed by both parties before semen is shipped. The Stallion Owner agrees to ship chilled semen from the above-mentioned stallion to the mare owner the fastest way possible. Transportation of the stallion semen will be arranged by the stallion owner, unless otherwise requested. Classic Quarter Horses Semen collection days are Monday - Thursday of every week. Weekend shipments may be available with prior arrangement – contact the Stallion owner with regard to this. Stallion owner must be notified before 9:00am EST on our collection days, of the mare owner’s need of semen. Note: some carriers do not ship on Sundays. ©Classic Quarter Horses

STALLION SERVICE CONTRACT

This contract certifies that ___________________________________, (herein referred to as to Mare Owner), has entered into this contract with Classic Quarter Horses (herein referred to as the Stallion Owner), for (no. of breeds required) ______ breeding/s to the Quarter Horse Stallion SUBTLE (IMP) Rego # Q-69639, for the Mare ___________________________ Rego #_______, Breed _______, for the 2012 breeding season, for a total service fee of $2,200.00 | $1,500.00, plus any pre-discussed charges. CLASSIC QUARTER HORSES STALLION SERVICE CONTRACT cont.

The mare owner must make contact at least 15 days prior to anticipated time of needed semen for collecting days, dates and availability of semen. Availability of semen depends on the notification schedule and mares on the farm. The mares on our stud have priority over the shipped semen mares.

The stallion owner agrees to ship semen the first time at a fee of $350.00 collection / shipping fee. All shipments after the first will cost the mare owner $350.00. Multiple shipments will be limited. A shipment will consist of enough semen for ____ mare/s on one day.

The mare owner is also responsible to insure that the mare to be bred is properly prepared for breeding: This shall include a clean swab report from a licensed veterinarian. Mare should be cycling properly. The mare owner shall send the contract back signed, with all correct information filled out, accompanied by the Stallion Fee, plus the first shipping fee of $350.00. The mare owner’s veterinarian will be monitoring the above mention mare for ovulation. The mare owner’s veterinarian will communicate with the breeder on availability of semen.

The mare owner Communication between Mare owner’s veterinarian and Classic Quarter Horses is essential.

The mare owner agrees to breed only the mare booked and not use the semen to breed any other mares. In the event the mare to be bred does not settle, the mare owner will hold the stallion owner blameless.

The mare owner agrees to have a licensed veterinarian or certified A.I. Technician inseminate the mare and fill out the appropriate association paper work, and returned.

*(Please check with your association with regard to the use of a certified A.I. Technician prior to the insemination of your mare.)

NO EXCEPTIONS

Live Foal Guarantee.

Live foal means the foal shall stand and nurse. It is understood that if the mare proves barren, aborts her foal or if the foal is stillborn, a onetime return season will be guaranteed the breeding season immediately after you enter into contract with Classic Quarter Horses, providing proper notification is given. It is agreed that mares over 18 years old are ineligible for the LFG.

* Proper notification shall be defined as follows:

A written certification by a licensed veterinarian must be received by Classic Quarter Horses, within 5 days, that the mare has slipped or produced a non-viable foal. Live foal guarantee on the before mentioned stallion is as follows: Classic Quarter Horses will re-breed the same mare for a $FREE return fee plus a $350.00 “semen shipment fee” on each shipment. The stallion owner, at his/her discretion, may require the mare to be rebred at Classic Quarter Horses or a breeding centre.

BREEDING SEASON AND CONDITIONS

The breeding season covered by this contract shall begin September 1st, 2012 and end December 24th, 2012 unless extenuating circumstances arise or by private treaty.

It is further agreed that should the above named stallion die, or become unfit for service: or if the above named mare dies during the breeding season covered by this contract, the mare owner may substitute another mare (# if applicable: or breed the above named mare) to another stallion on the stud, to the same value service or once the service value difference has been paid in full, that is agreed to by both mare owner and stallion owner.

A breeding certificate, where applicable, will be issued to the mare owner, only after all expenses have been paid in full. The $550 booking fee, (part of the stallion service fee), Vet & Agistment costs (where applicable), all shipping and all collection fees (where applicable) are non-refundable.

At the stallion’s owners discretion, Classic Quarter Horses, may refund the refundable part of the stallion fee and terminate this agreement at any time. There are a limited number of outside mares accepted for on-farm A.I. service & shipped semen. We recommend that you sign and return this as soon as possible with all applicable fees.

Classic Quarter Horses is aware of the high cost associated with transporting horses and the collection and shipping of semen. We want your mare in foal on the first shipment. We are managing our stallions to their fullest potential. We prefer you utilise the services of an established / reputable equine veterinarian or reproduction facility. This will best insure to keep the expenditure, of both parties, low.

ONLY IF APPLICABLE

Stallion Auction Breeding purchased via a stallion service auction is only good for the breeding season directly following the auction close. Stallion Auction Breeding cannot be carried over year to year for any reason. There is no live foal guarantee with a Stallion Auction Breeding. We will require written notice from the stallion service auction management and conformation that all fees and charges have been paid in full before semen can be shipped or natural service booked.

SHIPPED SEMEN

Shipping fee of $350.00, for the first shipment must be paid before semen is shipped.
