Call to Worship Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth! Amen!

Wondrous, Amazing God, we gather in awe in Your presence You created the Universe, and You are present with us in this space. Holy Spirit that came down on the disciples, You are moving within us. You swept over the waters of creation, and You are in our very breath. Savior Jesus, You became flesh and lived and died for us. You live again and give us the promise of new life, therefore we praise you, O God.

Nineteenth Sunday After Pentecost The liturgical color today is green representing the growth and mission of the church!

Prayer

*Hymn # 46 ‘God of Grace and God of Glory’ v 1,2,4,5 CMW RHONDDA

Call to Confession

Unison Prayer of Confession Your words are given to us, Author of Life, so we might be

reformed, but we often focus on how others need to change. Your words are offered to us so we might be transformed, but we are focused on conforming to our culture. Your words are spoken to lead us into new life, but we often hold our old ways tight to our chests. Forgive us, God of Wonder. Do not remember our sins, but continue to touch us with your steadfast mercy. Show us how to be persistent in living out our faith, even as you were so tenacious in offering us your grace and life in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior…

Response # 559 ‘All the Way My Savior Leads Me’ v 1 & 2 Crosby/Lowry

Words of Assurance and Hope Jesus reminds us that we are to be resolute in our lives of faithfulness and service. The good news is that God is steadfast in filling us with love and grace. We are a forgiven people. May we live as sisters and brothers in Christ, God's children in word and deed, in hope and joy. Thanks be to God. Amen.

“...And Respond with Gratitude!” Offering Offertory “Belong” Smith/Voss

No one compares to You my King Nothing can tame this love You bring

'Cause I, I belong to You Here in the shelter of Your wings Fear melts away and I have peace

'Cause I, I belong to You

Nothing can come between us or separate us

Your love is stronger than death Your voice eternally says

That I am Yours and You are mine Your hope is all that I need Your grace helps me to see

That I am Yours and You are mine

I've learned to kiss the crashing waves That slammed me into the rock of ages

'Cause I, I belong to You I've learned to stand in the midst of storms

Where lightning is fierce and the thunder roars 'Cause I, I belong to You

You reached in and pulled me out You broke the chains removed all doubt

You told me I don’t have to hide 'Cause I am Yours and You are mine
