PARISHES OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF BOSTON RAISE $442,00 FOR HAITI RELIEF

The parishes of the Archdiocese of Boston raised $442,000 through a special collection in late August for earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. On August 14th a deadly earthquake struck Haiti causing great loss of live and enormous damage. The special collection supports relief efforts operated by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and the Church in Haiti.

Cardinal Sean P . O’Malley, OFM said, “We are blessed by the generosity of our parishioners and the deep and prayerful concern for the suffering being experienced by the Haitian people. The funds raised by the special collection will be a great help to meeting the many diverse needs in Haiti.”

I am pleased and blessed to have wonderful parishioners that made it possible for us to donate $500. to this special collection for the Church in Haiti. Fr. Bruce

Our Grand Annual Drive is now underway.

As always, this drive is very important to St. Richard Parish, as it assists us in continuing to provide all of the programs and services offered here at St. Richard Parish. We ask that you consider donating whatever you feel is appropriate for you. No donation is ever too small.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION UPDATE

Classes for grades 1-8 will be held in the parish hall and will begin immediately after the

9:00 o’clock mass at 10:00am and will end at 11:15am

Our Religious Education program relies 100% on the kindness of our volunteers. At this time, we are

still in need of teachers, and hall monitor volunteers.

Enroll in Offertory Awareness Program - If you wish to enroll in our Offertory Awareness Program at this time, in order to make your weekly or monthly donation to St. Richard Parish, via mail or directly through your online banking, please call the parish office at 978/774-7575 or email Tania Malone, Administrative Assistant at [email protected] and you will be enrolled.

Current Offertory Awareness Program Participants – Many Offertory Awareness participants bring their donation to Mass and drop it in the collection basket. Since we are una-ble to celebrate Mass at this time, we would kindly ask that you mail your donation to the parish.

Personal Online Banking – Many of us pay our bills via online banking. You may also make your donations to St. Richard Parish in this manner. Please add St. Richard Par-ish to your online banking account by adding the parish as a new person/company to pay. The parish address is 90 Forest Street, Danvers, MA 01923. This way, you will be able to make a one-time donation, weekly donation or monthly donation directly to the parish. You may also set up your donation as a recurring event so that the donation is made automatically.
