Christian

MothersSaturday, May 9th

Welcome toSt. Peter!

Welcome to God’s house today as our jubilant celebration of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead continues this Sixth Sunday of Easter. On this Mother’s Day weekend we praise our living Savior for the gift of Christian mothers and grandmothers. May Jesus richly bless them - and all of us as well!

Welcome toSt. Peter!

There are friendship registers at the end of each row of chairs.

Please take a moment to give us your information so that we have a record of your time with us today.

Thank you!

Prayer before Worship

Dear risen Savior, bless us as we worship you today. Strengthen us – and especially our mothers – through your Word and sacrament that we may remain in you until that day when we get to see you with our own eyes in heaven. Amen.

OUR COMMUNION PRACTICEIn the Sacrament of Holy Communion,

we express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word.

Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of St. Peter or members of the WELS/ELS. Visitors who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.
