STELLAR Programme

STELLAR aims to strengthen both language and

reading skills as well as promote a positive attitude

towards reading in the foundational years through the

use of well-established, learner-centred and

developmentally appropriate pedagogical approaches

using authentic children's literature.

What Is a STELLAR Lesson Like?

What is PAL? • Stands for Programme for Active

Learning

• Consists of modules in the two broad areas: Sports & Outdoor Education and Performing & Visual Arts

• Addresses the greater need for non-academic programmes for P1 and P2 pupils

Why the need for PAL?

• Seeks to ensure our children are not

just equipped with content knowledge

• Necessary skills and values to thrive

in a fast changing and globalised
