Parish News Continued Knights of Columbus will be saying the Rosary 20 minutes before daily Mass in the month of May. Knights of Columbus, fr. b.m. broderick council 1219 mother’s day banquet and annual awards night will be held on May 9th. Doors open at 6pm. Dinner is served at 6:30 pm. Guest speaker is Fr. John Fraser. For tickets contact Rick Sugden 773-0883, Fred Petrie 773-4298, James Bernard 773-7890, Stephen Ross 773-3324 or Members of the Santa Maria Society. Cost is $15ea. The menu is roast turkey dinner, ap-ple pie & ice cream.

Tree of honor reminder
On Mother’s Day weekend a tree of honor will be decorated
honoring the special women in our lives both living and in
memory. This year you will find this envelope in with the box
of envelopes. Others wishing to donate are asked to put $15
in an envelope marked “Tree of Honor” . Please include the
name(s) and who the donation is from. An insert will be in-
cluded in the bulletin with the names being honored and who
it is from.

March for Life rally at NB Legislature May 15, 11:30- 1:00 pm. The provincial government is listening to public opinion on abortion. The March is an opportunity to raise a voice for life and in favour of support for pregnant mothers. Includes testi-mony from two mothers. Info. 1-888-796-9600.
Bishop Robert Harris sends a personal invitation for you to join him at St. Dunstan’s Church on Thursday, May 15, at 10 am for the celebration of Mass prior to the 2014 March for Life Rally. (see bulletin boards for full letter) The theme this year is “Women and Children First”.
A bus will be leaving the Miramichi from the Dairy Queen in Newcastle at 7:30 am to travel to St. Dunstan’s. The return ticket is $20.00. Reserve your seat by calling Gina at 773-4766. The bus will be returning before supper.
