ONLINE PAYMENTS
STUDENT RECORDS
Online payments are the preferred
way to make payments for any
school run activity.
Parent online payments (POP) provides parents with a
secure payment facility to deposit into the school’s
account via a credit or debit card. It gives
parent/carers a convenient and alternative means of
paying the school.
Online payments can be made using either a Visa or
MasterCard credit or debit card, and can be made via
computer, tablet or mobile phone. The payment page
is accessed from the front page of the schools website
by selecting $ Make a payment.
Items that can be paid include voluntary school
contributions, excursions and creative and practical
arts activities (these include band and dance). There is
also a category called ‘Other’ this to cover items not
covered in the previous headings, Other can be used
to make a complete payment of a school invoice.
When you access the $ Make a payment you must
enter:
the students name, and class and reference number
OR the students name, and date of birth.
These details are entered each time you make a
payment as student information is not held within the
payment system.
This is a secure payment system hosted by Westpac to
ensure that your credit/debit card details are captured
in a secure manner, these details are not passed back
to the school. For any enquiries regarding the Online
Payment process please contact the School
Administration Office.

2019 COLYTON LEARNING COMMUNITY SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE
Last week, 80 of our talented students
performed on stage at Colyton High School, for
the Colyton Learning Community Showcase.
We are incredibly proud of the beautiful
performances and how each of our students
represented St Marys South with such delight.
We would like to extend a very big thank you to
our wonderful teachers, Mrs Carroll, Mrs Weir,
Mrs Venables, Mrs Walker, Miss Lister and
Miss McIntosh for their continuous support and
encouragement.
I was playing a card game with my friends to
make a total of the target number twenty-
one. I had three cards - a seven, a ten and a
four. I was thinking, what if the target number
was one?
Can you help me by showing how my three cards, using
any of the four operation symbols, could be used to
make one?
Remember there will be a Step-Up Award for every
student who gives a solution.
WONDER - STEM PROBLEM OF THE WEEK
AUTHOR VISIT - MATT STANTON
On Wednesday, 21st August, we had the
pleasure of meeting Author, Matt Stanton.
Since Matt Stanton burst onto the children’s
publishing scene, he has quickly made his
presence known with eighteen original
titles, four bestselling series and has sold
over half a million books.
The highly interactive, engaging and funny
presentation was thoroughly enjoyed by
both our teachers and students.
Matt demonstrated
how powerful our
imagination can be,
and taught us a
step-by-step guide
on how to overcome
creative obstacles.
